15. On 7 September 2005, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General on the situation of human rights defenders sent an urgent appeal to the Government of Thailand regarding human rights defender Wiwat Thamee, coordinator of the Ethnic and Indigenous People's Network of Thailand.

529. On 22 July 2005, a prompt intervention (see paragraph 11) letter was sent to the Government of Thailand on alleged threats and harassment of the family of Somchai Neelapaijit.
