4. Since my report to the Security Council of 6 July 2004 (S/2004/536), the relationship between RSLAF and the Sierra Leone police has improved.

In his report to the Security Council of 16 August 1999, the Secretary-General stated that " a general review of the role of the United Nations in Somalia, including the possible relocation of some United Nations programmes and agencies, as well as the Political Office, to Somalia " could be considered.

(a) Human Rights Office. As indicated by the Secretary-General in his report to the Security Council of 25 June 2001 (S/2001/627, para. 53), UNAMSIL plans to carry out regular human rights monitoring visits to all areas where it is deployed and open up human rights offices in various regions of the country.

Since my last report to the Security Council, of 24 November 2008 (S/2008/692), four additional States have recognized Kosovo, bringing the total to 56.
ومنذ تقريري الأخير المقدم إلى مجلس الأمن والمؤرخ 24 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2008 (S/2008/692)، اعترفت أربع دول إضافية بكوسوفو، وبذا أصبح مجموع تلك الدول 56 دولة.

(ii) Electoral Officers. In his report to the Security Council of 25 June 2001 (S/2001/627, para. 47) the Secretary-General expressed his intention to establish a small electoral unit in UNAMSIL that would gradually be expanded in tandem with the progress made in the electoral preparation.

22. The Advisory Committee notes from the report of the Secretary-General to the Security Council of 19 December 2003 that, in spite of the persistent efforts of the Boundary Commission, there has been little progress in the demarcation of the border (see S/2003/1186, paras.15-18).

67. As indicated in my report to the Security Council of 5 September 2002 (S/2002/987), the ultimate goal of the UNAMSIL drawdown plan is to ensure a gradual, phased and deliberate transfer of responsibility for the security of Sierra Leone from the United Nations to the Government of Sierra Leone.

The report seeks to provide a final account of the activities of the United Nations Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission (UNMOVIC) since my last report to the Security Council, dated 27 September 2007 (S/2007/568) and the work accomplished to appropriately dispose of UNMOVIC archives and other property.

Suffice it to recall your report to the Security Council dated 28 May 2004, which called on all States to " cooperate both bilaterally and in international bodies to eliminate the unnecessary restrictions and barriers that have the effect of isolating the Turkish Cypriots and impeding their development " (para. 93).

Second, Lebanon confirms its reservations on three locations on the blue line of withdrawal adopted by the United Nations as the withdrawal line. This reservation is included in the report submitted by the Secretary-General to the Security Council on 16 June 2000.
