3. Commends regional initiatives to strengthen international and regional cooperation aimed at countering the threat posed by the illicit production of drugs in Afghanistan and trafficking in drugs originating in that country;
3 - يثني على المبادرات الإقليمية الرامية إلى تعزيز التعاون الدولي والإقليمي بهدف التصدي للتهديد الذي يمثله إنتاج المخدرات غير المشروع في أفغانستان والاتجار بالمخدرات التي مصدرها ذلك البلد؛

10. The international community and the relevant United Nations organizations, in particular the United Nations International Drug Control Programme, should assist States in countering illicit drug production by providing adequate financial and technical assistance for alternative development, with the objective of reducing and eliminating illicit drug crops.
٠١ - ينبغي أن يساعد المجتمع الدولي ومنظمات اﻷمم المتحدة ذات الصلة، وخصوصا برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة للمراقبة الدولية للمخدرات الدول على مكافحة إنتاج المخدرات غير المشروع وذلك بتوفير مساعدات مالية وتقنية كافية للتنمية البديلة، بهدف تقليل المحاصيل المخدرة غير المشروعة والقضاء عليها.

10. The international community and the relevant United Nations organizations, in particular the United Nations International Drug Control Programme, should assist States in countering illicit drug production by providing adequate financial and technical assistance for alternative development, with the objective of reducing and eliminating illicit drug crops.
٠١ - ينبغي للمجتمع الدولي ومنظمات اﻷمم المتحدة ذات الصلة، وخصوصا برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة للمراقبة الدولية للمخدرات، أن تساعد الدول على مكافحة إنتاج المخدرات غير المشروع وذلك بتوفير مساعدات مالية وتقنية كافية للتنمية البديلة، بهدف تقليل المحاصيل المخدرة غير المشروعة والقضاء عليها.

8. Alternative development is an important component for generating and promoting lawful, viable and sustainable economic options to illicit drug crop cultivation and is one of the key components of the policy and programmes for reducing illicit drug production that have been adopted within the comprehensive framework of the global strategy of the United Nations.
٨ - التنمية البديلة عنصر مهم ﻹحداث وترويج خيارات اقتصادية مشروعة ومجدية ومستدامة للزراعة غير المشروعة للمحاصيل المخدرة، كما أنها من العناصر المحورية لسياسات وبرامج تقليل إنتاج المخدرات غير المشروع التي اعتمدت ضمن اﻹطار الشامل لاستراتيجية اﻷمم المتحدة العالمية.

8. Alternative development is an important component for generating and promoting lawful, viable and sustainable economic options to illicit drug crop cultivation and is one of the key components of the policy and programmes for reducing illicit drug production that has been adopted within the comprehensive framework of the global strategy of the United Nations.
٨ - التنمية البديلة عنصر مهم ﻹحداث وترويج بدائل اقتصادية مشروعة ومجدية ومستدامة لزراعة المحاصيل المخدرة غير المشروعة، كما أنها من العناصر المحورية لسياسات وبرامج تقليل إنتاج المخدرات غير المشروع التي اعتمدت ضمن اﻹطار الشامل لاستراتيجية اﻷمم المتحدة العالمية.

(c) To adopt measures to avoid the diversion of chemicals used in illicit drug production, and to strengthen control of the production of and traffic in stimulants and their precursors;
)ج( اعتماد تدابير لتلافي تسريب الكيميائيات المستخدمة في إنتاج المخدرات غير المشروع بها، وتشديد مراقبة إنتاج المنشطات وسلائفها ومكافحة الاتجار غير المشروع بها؛

8. Calls upon the international community to provide increased economic and technical support to Governments that request it for programmes of alternative and sustainable development, which have as their objectives the reduction and elimination of illicit drug production and which take fully into account the cultural traditions of peoples;
٨ - تطلب إلى المجتمع الدولي زيادة ما يقدمه من دعم اقتصادي وتقني إلى الحكومات التي تطلب ذلك من أجل برامج التنمية البديلة والمستدامة التي تهدف إلى الحد من إنتاج المخدرات غير المشروع والقضاء عليه والتي تولي المراعاة التامة للتقاليد الثقافية للشعوب؛

19. Stresses the importance of the contribution of the United Nations system and the international community to the economic and social development of the communities that benefit from innovative alternative programmes to eradicate illicit drug production, inter alia, in reforestation, agriculture and small and medium-sized enterprises;
19 - تؤكد أهمية مساهمة منظومة الأمم المتحدة والمجتمع الدولي في التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية للمجتمعات المحلية التي تستفيد من البرامج البديلة المبتكرة للقضاء على إنتاج المخدرات غير المشروع في مجالات عدة، منها إعادة زراعة الغابات والزراعة والمشاريع الصغيرة والمتوسطة الحجم؛
