122- وشكرت اللجنة الفرعية لجنة إيادك على اقتراحاتها بشأن تخفيف مخاطر الحطام ودوّنت تقديرها العميق لجهود لجنة إيادك.

The Subcommittee also noted that the Italian Space Agency (ASI) had applied for membership in IADC in 1997.
ونوهت اللجنة الفرعية أيضا بأن وكالة الفضاء الايطالية قد تقدمت بطلب للانتساب الى إيادك في عام ٧٩٩١ .

The Subcommittee agreed that IADC should be invited to make a technical presentation on its work at the thirty-sixth session of the Subcommission.
واتفقت اللجنة الفرعية على دعوة إيادك الى تقديم عرض تقني عن أعمالها أثناء الدورة السادسة والثلاثين للجنة الفرعية .

The Subcommittee also took note of the technical changes and amendments to its technical report for 1996 and 1997 that had been proposed by IADC.
وأخذت اللجنة الفرعية علما أيضا بالتغييرات والتعديلات التقنية التي اقترحتها إيادك بشأن تقريرها التقني عن عامي ٦٩٩١ و ٧٩٩١ .

According to its work plan, the Subcommittee had begun its review of the IADC proposals and discussed means of endorsing their utilization.
ووفقا لخطة عملها، فقد بدأت اللجنة الفرعية أيضا باستعراضها لمقترحات (إيادك) وناقشت وسائل اقرار الاستفادة منها.

The Subcommittee strongly endorsed the action undertaken by IADC to reach consensus on debris mitigation measures and encouraged IADC to treat the topic with due priority, with a view to completing the task during 2002 so that the results could be reported to the Subcommittee at its fortieth session, in 2003.
وتؤيد اللجنة الفرعية بشدة الاجراء الذي اتخذته إيادك باعطاء هذا الموضوع الأولوية الواجبة، بغية استكمال المهمة خلال عام 2002، بحيث يمكن ادراج النتائج في تقرير يقدم إلى اللجنة الفرعية في دورتها الأربعين، في عام 2003.

2004 IADC continues its presentation on its proposals on debris mitigation (as required), based on consensus among its members.
2004 تواصل إيادك عرضها لاقتراحاتها بشأن تخفيف الحطام (حسب الاقتضاء)، على أساس توافق الآراء بين أعضائها.

Some delegations expressed the view that the IADC guidelines should be implemented expeditiously on a voluntary basis through national mechanisms and that there were no international legal impediments to that process.
128- وأعربت بضعة وفود عن رأي مفاده أن المبادئ التوجيهية التي وضعتها لجنة إيادك ينبغي أن تنفذ على وجه السرعة وطوعا من خلال آليات وطنية وأنه لا توجد معوقات قانونية دولية تحول دون ذلك.

13. ISRO is an active member of the Inter-Agency Space Debris Coordination Committee (IADC).
13- المنظمة الهندية (إسرو) هي عضو ناشط في لجنة التنسيق المشتركة بين الوكالات والمعنية بالحطام الفضائي (إيادك).

The Subcommittee noted with satisfaction that, following its invitation, representatives of IADC had made a technical presentation on the subject of space debris mitigation, as mentioned in paragraph 17 of the present report.
١٩ - كما نوهت اللجنة الفرعية مع الارتياح بأن ممثلي إيادك قدموا بناء على دعوة منها ، عرضا تقنيا عن موضوع التخفيف من مخاطر الحطام الفضائي ، على نحو ما جاء بالفقرة ٧١ من هذا التقرير .

It has contributed to the development of the IADC space debris mitigation guidelines and also implements them.
وقد أسهمت في اعداد المبادئ التوجيهية بشأن التخفيف من الحطام الفضائي الصادرة عن لجنة التنسيق (إيادك)، وتعمل أيضا على تنفيذها هي نفسها.

2. The United States Government endorses the IADC space debris mitigation guidelines and itself adopted similar guidelines in December 2000.
2- تؤيد حكومة الولايات المتحدة المبادئ التوجيهية بشأن التخفيف من الحطام الفضائي الصادرة عن لجنة التنسيق (إيادك)، وهي نفسها كانت قد اعتمدت مبادئ توجيهية مماثلة في كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2000.

The Subcommittee noted with satisfaction that, in accordance with its work plan on space debris, IADC had presented its proposals on debris mitigation (A/AC.105/C.1/L.260), based on consensus among the IADC members.
121- ولاحظت اللجنة الفرعية بارتياح أنه، وفقا لخطة عملها بشأن الحطام الفضائي، قدمت لجنة إيادك اقتراحاتها بشأن تخفيف مخاطر الحطام (A/AC.105/C.1/L.260)، استنادا إلى توافق الآراء بين أعضاء لجنة إيادك.

The Subcommittee requested and encouraged all member States of the Committee to study the IADC proposals and to provide their possible comments to the Office for Outer Space Affairs before the forty-first session of the Subcommittee, in 2004.
123- وطلبت اللجنة الفرعية إلى كل الدول الأعضاء في اللجنة وشجعتها على أن تدرس اقتراحات لجنة إيادك وأن تقدم تعليقاتها الممكنة إلى مكتب شؤون الفضاء الخارجي قبل انعقاد الدورة الحادية والأربعين للجنة الفرعية في عام 2004.

The view was expressed that, in parallel to the Subcommittee's work on fine-tuning the debris mitigation guidelines, the Subcommittee should analyse ways of implementing the IADC guidelines on a voluntary basis.
129- وأبدي رأي مفاده أنه، بالتوازي مع عمل اللجنة الفرعية الرامي إلى تحسين المبادئ التوجيهية بشأن تخفيف مخاطر الحطام، ينبغي للجنة الفرعية أن تحلّل سبل التنفيذ الطوعي للمبادئ التوجيهية التي وضعتها لجنة إيادك.

119. The Subcommittee noted with satisfaction that, at the invitation of the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, a representative of the Inter-Agency Space Debris Coordination Committee (IADC) had made a technical presentation on its activities and views on reducing space debris from launch vehicles.
119- ولاحظت اللجنة الفرعية مع الارتياح انه بناء على دعــوة مـن لجنة استخدام الفضاء الخارجي في الأغراض السلمية،(11) قدم ممثل عن لجنة التنسيق المشتركة بين الوكالات والمعنية بالحطام الفضائي (إيادك) (IADC) عرضا تقنيا عن أنشطة وآراء إيادك بشأن الحد من الحطام الفضائي الناشىء عن مركبات الاطلاق.
