118. The Special Rapporteur was further informed that Sidieg Ibrahim Abd al-Khier, who was acquitted of the same charges as the nine men mentioned above, became blind as a result of the torture to which he was subjected while in detention.

In the following individual cases, the trial court was said to have responded to the defendant's torture claim by disregarding the evidence obtained through torture: Sharif Hassan Ahmad Muhammad Hassan, Qasim Ibrahim Qasim Qutaish, Ahmad Ibrahim Abdul Galil Mustafa, Ala ed-Din Ismail Abbas Ramadhan.
وفي الحالات الفردية التالية قيل إن المحكمة التي كانت تنظر القضية أجابت على ادعاء التعذيب المقدم من المتهم بتجاهل الدليل الذي تم الحصول عليه بواسطة التعذيب: شريف حسن أحمد محمد حسن، وقاسم ابراهيم قاسم قطيش، وأحمد ابراهيم عبد الجليل مصطفى، وعلاء الدين اسماعيل عباس رمضان.

With the respect to the above, with the exception of the cases of Hanna Ali Farrag Abdul Karim and Amad Ibrahim Abdul Galil Mustafa, the Government subsequently informed the Special Rapporteur that the DPP had requested further details so that it could complete its investigations.
٠٤٢ - وفيما يتعلق بما سبق، باستثناء حالتي حنا علي فرج عبد الكريم واحمد ابراهيم عبد الجليل مصطفى، أبلغت الحكومة المقرر الخاص لاحقا بأن النيابة العامة طلبت مزيدا من التفاصيل لكي تتمكن من استكمال تحقيقاتها.
