١٥ - تدعو إلى اﻹغلاق الفوري لجميع مراكز الاحتجاز التى لا تتفق مع اتفاقيات جنيف المعقودة فى ١٢ آب/أغسطس ١٩٤٩؛

Noting with appreciation the continuing efforts of the International Committee of the Red Cross to promote and disseminate knowledge of international humanitarian law, in particular the Geneva Conventions of 1949 and the two Additional Protocols,
وإذ تلاحظ مع التقدير الجهود المتواصلة التي تبذلها لجنة الصليب الأحمر الدولية في سبيل تعزيز القانون الإنساني الدولي، ولا سيما اتفاقيات جنيف المعقودة في عام 1949 وبروتوكوليها الإضافيين، ونشر المعلومات عن ذلك،

Recalling also that the Russian Federation is a party to the Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949 and Additional Protocol II thereto,
وإذ تذكّر أيضا بأن الاتحاد الروسي طرف في اتفاقيات جنيف المعقودة في 12 آب/أغسطس 1949 والبروتوكول الإضافي الثاني الملحق بها،

Ghana had become a party to the Geneva Conventions of 1949, one year after gaining its independence, and in 2009 had adopted a legislative act incorporating those instruments and Protocols I and II into domestic law.
وأصبحت غانا طرفا في اتفاقيات جنيف المعقودة عام 1949 بعد عام واحد من نيلها استقلالها، وقامت في 2009 بسن قانون تشريعي يدمج هذه الصكوك والبروتوكولين الأول والثاني في القانون المحلي.

2. Appeals to all States parties to the Geneva Conventions of 1949 that have not yet done so to consider becoming parties to the additional Protocols at the earliest possible date;

Recalling the protection afforded to victims of armed conflicts by the Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949 and the Additional Protocols thereto of 1977,
وإذ تذكر بالحماية التي تمنحها اتفاقيات جنيف المعقودة في ٢١ آب/أغسطس ٩٤٩١ وبروتوكولاها اﻹضافيان لعام ٧٧٩١ لضحايا المنازعات المسلحة،

2. the Geneva Conventions Act 1957 was amended by the Geneva Conventions (Amendment) Act 1995 to provide for implementation of the Additional Protocols and, in particular, to provide for punishment of grave breaches of Additional Protocol 1.
وأبدت هنغاريا، عند التصديق على اتفاقيات جنيف المعقودة في عام 1949، تحفظات سحبها البرلمان الهنغاري بقراره رقم 30/2000، المؤرخ 14 نيسان/أبريل 2000.

As the guardian of the Geneva Conventions of 1949 and their Additional Protocols of 1977, ICRC has an important mandate to fulfil with regard to promoting the ratification of these and other humanitarian law instruments, as well as ensuring that the rules of that law are made widely known and are effectively implemented.
وكوصي على اتفاقيات جنيف المعقودة في عام 1949 وبروتوكوليها الإضافيين لعام 1977 تقع على كاهلها ولاية هامة يتعين عليها الاضطلاع بها فيما يتعلق بالعمل على التصديق على هذه الصكوك وغيرها من صكوك القانون الدولي وبكفالة نشر قواعد ذلك القانون على نطاق واسع وتنفيذها تنفيذا فعالا.

Recalling further that the Russian Federation is a party to the Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949 and Additional Protocol II thereto,
وإذ تشير كذلك إلى أن الاتحاد الروسي طرف في اتفاقيات جنيف المعقودة في 12 آب/أغسطس 1949 والبروتوكول الإضافي الثاني الملحق بها،

1. Appreciates the virtually universal acceptance of the Geneva Conventions of 1949 and the increasingly wide acceptance of the two additional Protocols of 1977;
١ - تقدر ما حظيت به اتفاقيات جنيف المعقودة في عام ١٩٤٩ من قبول يكاد يكون عالميا، وما يحظى به البروتوكولان اﻹضافيان لعام ١٩٧٧ من قبول متزايد الاتساع؛

2. Appeals to all States parties to the Geneva Conventions of 1949 that have not yet done so to consider becoming parties to the additional Protocols at the earliest possible date;

13. Calls upon the Government of Myanmar to respect fully the obligations of the Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949, in particular the obligations in article 3 common to the Conventions, and to make use of such services as may be offered by impartial humanitarian bodies;
١٣ - تطلب إلى حكومة ميانمار أن تحترم على الوجه الكامل التزاماتها بموجب اتفاقيات جنيف المعقودة في ١٢ آب/أغسطس ١٩٤٩، ولا سيما الالتزامات المنصوص عليها في المادة ٣ المشتركة من الاتفاقيات، وأن تستفيد من الخدمات التي يمكن أن تتيحها الهيئات اﻹنسانية المحايدة؛

These practices are harmful for them physically and psychologically and affect the full implementation of the general and special protection of children during armed conflict situations, as provided for in the Geneva Conventions of 1949 for the protection of war victims and their Additional Protocols of 1977.
فهذه الممارسات تضر بهم بدنيا ونفسيا وتؤثر على التنفيذ الكامل للحماية العامة والخاصة لﻷطفال أثناء حالات النزاع المسلح، وفقا لما تقضي به اتفاقيات جنيف المعقودة في عام ١٩٤٩ والمتعلقة بحماية ضحايا الحرب والبروتوكولان اﻹضافيان الملحقان بها لعام ١٩٧٧.

95. Common article 3 to the Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949 prohibits " at any time and in any place whatsoever " :
