"اتفاقيتا فيينا" - Translation from Arabic to English

• Vienna Conventions

The parties must follow the procedures set out for this purpose in the treaty or, in the absence thereof, the procedure established by articles 39 et seq. of the Vienna Conventions.
وينبغي أن تتّبع الأطراف الإجراءات المنصوص عليها لهذا الغرض في المعاهدة، أو إذا تعذر ذلك، أن تتّبع الإجراء الذي تنص عليه اتفاقيتا فيينا في المادة 39 وما يليها.

Similarly, diplomatic protection should not overlap with the traditional diplomatic and consular protection clearly governed by the Vienna Conventions of 1961 and 1963.
كما ينبغي ألا تتداخل الحماية الدبلوماسية مع الحماية الدبلوماسية والقنصلية التقليدية التي تحكمها بشكل واضح اتفاقيتا فيينا لعامي ١٩٦١ و ١٩٦٣.

The silence of the Vienna Conventions on this point should, however, be rectified in order to remove any doubts concerning this point.

71. The extensive case-based approach taken in the Guide would provide guidance for the practice of States and help them resolve a number of situations that were not resolved by the Vienna Conventions.

55. Furthermore, the Vienna Conventions completely ignore all other forms of the reservations dialogue, as is logical in a treaty that is binding on States and international organizations.

(ii) The 1978 and 1986 Vienna Conventions

The definition of objections should therefore reflect the real intention of the objecting State and not tie that position to the effects attributed to objections under the Vienna Conventions.
ولذلك فإن تعريف الاعتراضات يجب أن يعبر عن النية الحقيقية للدولة المعترضة وألا يربط هذا الموقف بالآثار التي تنسبها اتفاقيتا فيينا للاعتراضات.

These programmes should be based on national legislation aligned with the relevant international conventions, including the Vienna Conventions on Road Traffic and on Road Signs and Signals.
وينبغي أن تستند هذه البرامج على التشريعات الوطنية المواءمة مع الاتفاقيات الدولية ذات الصلة، بما في ذلك اتفاقيتا فيينا بشأن المرور على الطرق ولافتات وإشارات الطرق.

100. It was furthermore pointed out that draft guideline 2.1.6 followed the 1969 and 1986 Vienna Conventions.

158. This does not mean that the reservations regime instituted by the Vienna Conventions does not apply in this second case:
