(i) To hold three annual meetings of the States Parties of one week duration each year commencing in 2003 until the Sixth Review Conference, to be held not later than the end of 2006, to discuss, and promote common understanding and effective action on:
`1` عقد ثلاثة اجتماعات سنوية للدول الأطراف يستغرق كل منها أسبوعاً واحداً، وذلك كل عام بدءاً من عام 2003 وحتى المؤتمر الاستعراضي السادس المقرر عقده في موعد أقصاه نهاية عام 2006، لمناقشة المسائل التالية، وتعزيز التفاهم المشترك حولها، واتخاذ إجراءات فعالة بشأنها:

Provisions for annual meetings of States Parties and regular Review Conferences;

2. The members of the Committee shall be elected by secret ballot from a list of persons nominated by States Parties from among their nationals, at biennial meetings of the States Parties convened by the Secretary-General of the United Nations for this purpose.
