(i) The participant had been married to the former spouse for a continuous period of at least ten years during which contributions were paid to the Fund on account of the participant or the participant was awarded a disability benefit under article 33 of the Regulations;
' ١ ' كان المشترك متزوجــا بزوجه السابق لفترة متواصلة لا تقل عن ١٠ سنوات دفعت خلالهــا الاشتراكــات للصندوق لحساب المشتــرك أو منـح المشترك استحقاق عجز بموجب المادة ٣٣ من النظام اﻷساسي؛ ' ٢ ' لم يتزوج الزوج السابق مرة أخرى؛

(ii) Notwithstanding the provisions of (i) above, payments in respect of a period of leave without pay during which a disability benefit was being paid under article 33 may be made, but only on the cessation of entitlement thereto, or within 12 months of the resumption of pay status by the participant;

On 31 December 2002, the breakdown of the periodic benefits in award was as follows: 16,138 retirement benefits, 11,291 early retirement benefits, 6,540 deferred retirement benefits, 8,014 widows' and widowers' benefits, 8,116 children's benefits, 885 disability benefits and 44 secondary dependants' benefits.

(b) A staff member whose appointment is terminated for reasons of health shall receive an indemnity equal to the indemnity provided under paragraph (a) of the present annex reduced by the amount of any disability benefit that the staff member may receive under the Regulations of the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund for the number of months to which the indemnity rate corresponds;
(ب) يحصل الموظف الذي ينهى تعيينه لأسباب صحية على تعويض مساو للتعويض المنصوص عليه في الفقرة (أ) من هذا المرفق مخصوما منه مبلغ أي استحقاق عجز يحصل عليه الموظف بموجب النظام الأساسي للصندوق المشترك للمعاشات التقاعدية لموظفي الأمم المتحدة عن عدد الأشهر المقابلة في جدول التعويض؛

(b) A staff member whose appointment is terminated for reasons of health shall receive an indemnity equal to the indemnity provided under paragraph (a) of the present annex reduced by the amount of any disability benefit that the staff member may receive under the Regulations of the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund for the number of months to which the indemnity rate corresponds;
