The Chinese Government has dedicated itself to developing the economy, strengthening the legal system, eliminating all backward ideas that discriminate against women and fulfilling the strategic objectives of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action adopted at the Fourth World Conference on Women.

123. The Declaration and Platform for Action adopted at the Fourth World Conference on Women are important contributions to the advancement of women worldwide and must be translated into effective action by all States, the United Nations system and other organizations concerned as well as non-governmental organizations.
٣٢١ - إن اﻹعلان ومنهاج العمل اللذين اعتمدا في المؤتمر العالمي الرابع المعني بالمرأة يمثلان مساهمة هامة في النهوض بالمرأة في جميع أنحاء العالم ويجب أن تترجمها جميع الدول ومنظومة اﻷمم المتحدة، والمنظمات اﻷخرى المعنية وكذلك المنظمات غير الحكومية إلى تدابير فعالة.

The Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, adopted at the Fourth World Conference on Women, must be vigorously implemented at all levels. Likewise, implementation of the Copenhagen Declaration and Programme of Action is essential for the attainment of a positive environment for enhancing the human condition.
ويجب أن ينفذ بهمة وعلى جميع المستويات إعلان ومنهاج عمل بيجين، اللذان اعتمدا في المؤتمر العالمي الرابع المعني بالمرأة، كما أن تنفيذ إعلان وبرنامج عمل كوبنهاغن أمر ضروري ﻹيجاد بيئة مواتية لتحسين حالة اﻹنسان.

The report includes the results of the implementation of the National Plan of Action for the Improvement of the Status of Women in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which was drawn up in accordance with the 12 priority areas of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action adopted at the Fourth World Conference on Women.
