The Governing Council noted that Jordan and Kuwait have made considerable progress since the seventy-fourth session and found that both Governments have now materially met the requirements of decision 269.
ولاحظ المجلس أن الأردن والكويت قد أحرزتا تقدما كبيرا منذ الدورة الرابعة والسبعين وخلص إلى أن حكومتي البلدين قد استوفتا الشروط المادية للمقرر 269.

The Council further noted its expectation that it will be ready to declare that the mandate of the Programme has been fulfilled in the case of Jordan and Kuwait at or before the next Council session, subject to Jordan and Kuwait satisfactorily addressing certain issues.
كما لاحظ المجلس أنه يتوقع أن يكون مستعداً لإعلان وفاء الأردن الكويت بولاية البرنامج أثناء انعقاد دورته المقبلة أو قبلها، وذلك رهناً بأن يقوم كل من الأردن والكويت بمعالجة بعض المسائل على نحو مُرض.

Inside Iraq, UNHCR continued to provide protection and assistance through some 30 national and three international staff, missions by staff from support offices in Jordan and Kuwait as well as via remote management.

In Iraq, UNHCR's scope for action remains limited, with reduced numbers of national staff operating within the country and international staff supporting them from Jordan and Kuwait.

58. Pending an improvement in the security situation in Iraq and until secure accommodation is available to increase the current staff ceiling, UNAMI must continue to rely heavily on support from locations in Jordan and Kuwait for its operations in Iraq.
58 - وإلى أن يتحسن الوضع الأمني في العراق وتتوافر أماكن الإقامة الآمنة لزيادة سقف الموظفين الحالي، على البعثة أن تواصل الاعتماد بشكل كبير على دعم عملياتها في العراق من مواقع في الأردن والكويت.

It is expected that the mandate in the cases of Jordan and Kuwait will be fulfilled by the end of 2013 and the Programme closed following the release of the remaining withheld funds and the provision of a final accounting on the Commission secretariat's administrative expenditure in respect of the Programme to the participating Governments.

The Council encouraged Jordan and Kuwait to commence the process of constituting their advisory panels with a view to ensuring that they will become fully functional following the Governing Council's determination that the mandate under the Programme has been fulfilled.
وشجع المجلس الأردن والكويت على البدء في عملية تشكيل أفرقتهما الاستشارية لكفالة أن تكون هذه الأفرقة قادرة على أداء مهامها كاملة بمجرد أن يقطع مجلس الإدارة بأنه قد تم الوفاء بالولاية المقررة في إطار البرنامج.

With respect to the Follow-up Programme, the Governing Council adopted decision 271 (S/AC.26/Dec.271 (2013)) concerning the fulfilment of the mandate of the Programme in the case of Jordan and Kuwait.
