This resolution broadens the scope for monitoring and reporting by calling on Parties identified in the Secretary-General's list to provide information on steps they have taken to halt the recruitment and use of children, and expresses the intention of the Security Council to consider taking appropriate steps where insufficient progress has been made.
ويوسع هذا القرار نطاق الرصد والإبلاغ بدعوة الأطراف المحددة في قائمة الأمين العام إلى توفير معلومات عن التدابير التي اتخذتها لوضع حد لتجنيد الأطفال واستخدامهم، ويعرب عن نية مجلس الأمن النظر في اتخاذ تدابير مناسبة على الأصعدة التي لم تشهد تقدما كافيا.

1. Decides to confirm the appointment to the Chemical Review Committee of the 30 experts listed below, who were designated by 30 of the Governments of the Parties identified in decision RC-l/6:

Seventeen members, to serve four-year terms beginning 1 May 2014, had been nominated by the Parties identified in the annex to decision RC-6/3, subject to confirmation by the Conference of the Parties at its seventh meeting, and were participating in the current meeting.

1. Decides to appoint the following 17 experts formally designated by the Governments of those Parties identified in decision RC-4/3 to serve as members of the Committee for a period of four years beginning on 1 October 2009:
1 - يقرِّر أن يعيِّن الخبراء السبعة عشر التالية أسماؤهم الذين رشحتهم رسمياً حكومات الأطراف المحددة في المقرر ا ر - 4/3 للعمل كأعضاء في اللجنة لمدة أربع سنوات تبدأ في 1 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2009:

Strengthening the capacity of developing country Parties identified in Article 4, paragraphs 8 and 9, of the Convention for improving efficiency in upstream and downstream activities relating to fossil fuels, taking into consideration the need to improve the environmental efficiency of these activities;
(ه) تعزيز قدرة البلدان النامية الأطراف المحددة في الفقرتين 8 و9 من المادة 4 من الاتفاقية من أجل تحسين الكفاءة في الأنشطة التمهيدية والنهائية المتصلة بأنواع الوقود الأحفوري، مع مراعاة الحاجة إلى تحسين كفاءة هذه الأنشطة من الناحية البيئية؛

One member asked whether the Secretariat intended to communicate with those parties which had not ratified the Beijing Amendment, reminding them of the provisions of decision XXIV/2, which stipulated that the exceptions provided for in paragraph 8 of Article 4, as they applied to the Parties identified in that decision, would expire at the end of the Twenty-Fifth Meeting of the Parties.
18 - وتساءل أحد الأعضاء عما إذا كانت الأمانة تعتزم التواصل مع الأطراف التي لم تصدق على تعديل بيجين، لتذكيرها بأحكام المقرر 24/2، الذي ينص على أن الاستثناءات المنصوص عليها في الفقرة 8 من المادة 4، التي تنطبق على الأطراف المحددة في ذلك المقرر، سينتهي أجلها بنهاية الاجتماع الخامس والعشرين للأطراف.

1. Decides to appoint the following 15 experts formally designated by the Parties identified in decision RC-3/2 to serve as members of the Chemical Review Committee for a period of four years commencing on 1 October 2007:
1 - يقرر تعيين 15 خبيراً التالية أسماؤهم الذين عينتهم رسمياً الأطراف المحددة في مقرر اتفاقية روتردام - 3/2 للعمل كأعضاء في لجنة استعراض المواد الكيميائية لفترة أربع سنوات تبدأ في 1 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2007:

3. Agrees that information relating to response measures should be considered in a structured manner in order to enhance the implementation of Article 4, paragraph 1(g) and (h), of the Convention, recognizing the needs of developing country Parties identified in Article 4, paragraphs 8, 9 and 10;
3- يوافق على النظر في المعلومات المتعلقة بتدابير الاستجابة على نحو منظم، لتعزيز تنفيذ الفقرة 1 (ز) و(ح) من المادة 4 من الاتفاقية التي تعترف باحتياجات البلدان النامية الأطراف المحددة في الفقرات 8 و9 و10 من المادة 4 من الاتفاقية؛

3. Agrees that information relating to response measures should be considered in a structured manner in order to enhance the implementation of Article 4, paragraph 1(g) and (h), of the Convention, recognizing the needs of developing country Parties identified in Article 4, paragraphs 8, 9 and 10;
3- يتفق على أنه ينبغي تناول المعلومات المتعلقة بتدابير التصدي تناولا مهيكَلا، لتعزيز تنفيذ الفقرة 1(ز) و(ح) من المادة 4 من الاتفاقية، مسلما باحتياجات البلدان النامية الأطراف المحددة في الفقرات 8 و9 و10 من المادة 4 من الاتفاقية؛

Each Party included in Annex I shall provide information relating to how it is striving, under Article 3, paragraph 14, of the Kyoto Protocol, to implement its commitments mentioned in Article 3, paragraph 1, of the Kyoto Protocol in such a way as to minimize adverse social, environmental and economic impacts on developing country Parties, particularly those identified in Article 4, paragraphs 8 and 9, of the Convention.
