At the 2nd meeting, the President recalled that, by decision 8/CP.18, the COP requested the Standing Committee on Finance to further amend the guidelines for the review of the financial mechanism and to provide draft updated guidelines for consideration and adoption at COP 19 with a view to finalizing the fifth review of the financial mechanism for consideration at COP 20.
