Another important initiative that UNHCR has been actively pursuing, concerns a special programme for meeting the protection and assistance needs of separated asylum-seeking and refugee children.

91. It is clear from the above that the Sudanese laws provide considerable opportunity for children born out of wedlock and for asylum-seeking and refugee children to acquire nationality.
91- وعلى ضوء ما سبق ذكره نجد أن هنالك مجالاً واسعاً في القوانين السودانية للحصول على الجنسية بالنسبة للأطفال المولودين خارج إطار الزواج أو الأطفال ملتمسي اللجوء واللاجئين.

While noting as positive the State party's programme for protection and integration of refugee children, the Committee is seriously concerned at the absence of official statistics and data on asylum-seeking and refugee children in the State party and at the lack of procedures to identify victims of crimes under the Optional Protocol.

14. The Committee recommends that the State party systematically collect data on all asylum-seeking and refugee children to ensure that data is available regarding such children who may have been recruited or used in hostilities.
14- وتوصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف بجمع بيانات بصورة منهجية عن جميع الأطفال ملتمسي اللجوء واللاجئين لكفالة إتاحة بيانات عن هؤلاء الأطفال الذين ربما قد جنّدوا أو استخدموا في أعمال عدائية.

(b) Ensure that asylum-seeking and refugee children are provided with accessible and adequate support, including special care, protection and adequate guardianship and legal representation;
(ب) ضمان تزويد الأطفال ملتمسي اللجوء واللاجئين بدعم مناسب ويسهل الوصول إليه، بما في ذلك الرعاية والحماية الخاصة، والوصاية والتمثيل القانوني المناسبين؛

9. The Committee recommends that the State party systematically collect data on all asylum-seeking and refugee children to ensure that data is available regarding such children who may have been involved or used in armed conflict.
9- توصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف بأن تقوم بصورة منهجية بجمع بيانات عن الأطفال ملتمسي اللجوء واللاجئين لضمان توفر البيانات عن أولئك الأطفال الذين ربما شاركوا أو استخدموا في النزاعات المسلحة.

It is also concerned at the persisting discrimination against children from scheduled castes and scheduled tribes, children with disabilities, children with HIV/AIDS, as well as asylum-seeking and refugee children.
وهي تشعر بالقلق أيضاً إزاء استمرار التمييز ضد الأطفال من الطوائف المصنفة والقبائل المصنفة، والأطفال ذوي الإعاقة، والأطفال المصابين بفيروس نقص المناعة البشرية/الإيدز، علاوة على الأطفال ملتمسي اللجوء واللاجئين.

(c) To establish effective procedures to identify unaccompanied and separated asylum-seeking and refugee children and immediately take special measures to register their births;

13. The Committee is concerned at the lack of systematic data collection on aspects relating to children involved in armed conflict, and offences under the Optional Protocol, including official statistics of asylum-seeking and refugee children of 15 to 18 years of age.
13- يساور اللجنة قلق إزاء عدم جمع البيانات بصورة منهجية عن جوانب إشراك الأطفال في النزاعات المسلحة، وجرائم مشمولة في البروتوكول الاختياري، بما في ذلك بيانات الإحصاءات الرسمية عن الأطفال ملتمسي اللجوء واللاجئين الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين 15 و18 عاماً.

The Committee is also concerned about the absence of official statistics and data on asylum-seeking and refugee children in the State party -- mainland China, Hong Kong, China, and Macao, China -- and at the lack of procedures to identify children under its jurisdiction who may have been recruited or used in hostilities in other countries.
ويساور اللجنة قلق أيضاً بشأن عدم وجود إحصاءات وبيانات رسمية عن الأطفال ملتمسي اللجوء واللاجئين في الدولة الطرف - البر الصيني الرئيسي وهونغ كونغ الصينية، وماكاو الصينية - وعدم وجود إجراءات لتحديد هوية الأطفال الخاضعين لولايتها القضائية الذين يُحتمل أن يكونوا قد جُندوا أو استخدموا في أعمال حربية في بلدان أخرى.

21. The Committee is concerned about the lack of the protection of asylum-seeking and refugee children (so called " externally displaced persons " ), including former child soldiers, who live in official and unofficial camps in Thailand, as well as the lack of mechanisms for identifying former child soldiers among refugees/asylum-seekers.
21- تشعر اللجنة بالقلق إزاء عدم حماية الأطفال ملتمسي اللجوء واللاجئين (من يُسمَّون المشردين خارجياً)، بمن فيهم الأطفال الجنود السابقون الذين يعيشون في مخيمات رسمية وغير رسمية في تايلند، وكذلك إزاء عدم وجود آليات لتحديد هوية الأطفال الجنود السابقين من بين اللاجئين/ملتمسي اللجوء.

(c) Release asylum-seeking and refugee children held in detention and enable them to access the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR); ensure that unaccompanied and separated children, refugee and asylum-seeking children are not detained because of illegal entry/stay in the State party; and grant them the right to seek asylum and to stay in the State party until the completion of asylum procedures;
(ج) الإفراج عن الأطفال ملتمسي اللجوء واللاجئين الموجودين رهن الاحتجاز وتمكينهم من الوصول إلى مفوضية الأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين؛ والتأكد من أن الأطفال غير المصحوبين بذويهم والأطفال المنفصلين عن ذويهم والأطفال اللاجئين وملتمسي اللجوء لا يحتجزون بسبب الدخول/البقاء غير القانوني في الدولة الطرف؛ ومنحهم حق التماس اللجوء والبقاء في الدولة الطرف إلى حين إتمام إجراءات اللجوء؛
