Concerning the protection of Children and Young People at risk and in danger, the CNPCJR promotes, within the framework of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, awareness raising in relation to child rights and to the need for a culture of prevention of child abuse and neglect by promoting specific initiatives such as the National Campaign of Child Abuse Prevention Month (CAPM).

CIG, the Ministry of Health and the National Commission for the Protection of Children and youth at risk signed a protocol which will enable the identification and registration of child protection interventions at national level.
