In the event that the acts referred to in the foregoing article result in shipwreck or the stranding of a vessel or in the fall or destruction of an aircraft, the person responsible shall be sentenced to 4 to 12 years' imprisonment.

3) If in the commission of any of the acts referred to in paragraph 1 above, the perpetrator has killed another person wilfully, he/she shall be imprisoned for at least ten years or receive a custodial sentence of thirty years.
3 - إذا قتل الجاني في أثناء ارتكاب أي من الأفعال المشار إليها في الفقرة 1 أعلاه شخصا آخر عمدا، يحكم عليه بالسجن لفترة لا تقل عن عشر سنوات أو يتم اعتقاله لمدة ثلاثين سنة.

3) If as a result of any of the acts referred to in paragraph 1 above the captive dies, the captor shall be imprisoned for three to fifteen years.
3 - إذا توفي الأسير نتيجة لأي من الأفعال المشار إليها في الفقرة 1 أعلاه، يحكم على من قام بالاختطاف بالسجن لفترة تتراوح بين ثلاث سنوات وخمس عشرة سنة.

5) In cases where the person has committed any of the acts referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 above involuntarily, he/she shall be imprisoned up to three years.

If the acts mentioned in the two preceding paragraphs take place during a meeting within the hearing or sight of persons present at that meeting, the consent of those persons shall be presumed. A term of up to three years' imprisonment or a fine shall be imposed on a public official who uses the authority of his office to commit any of the acts enumerated in this article.
فإذا صدرت الأفعال المشار إليها في الفقرتين السابقتين أثناء اجتماع على مسمع أو مرأى من الحاضرين في ذلك الاجتماع فإن رضاء هؤلاء يكون مفترضاً ويعاقب بالحبس مدة لا تزيد على ثلاث سنوات أو بالغرامة الموظف العام الذي يرتكب أحد الأفعال المبينة بهذه المادة اعتماد على سلطة وظيفته.

The fact that any of the criminal offences referred to in articles 171 to 175 and 177 to 179 of the Code was perpetrated by a subordinate does not relieve the superior of criminal responsibility if that person knew or had reason to know that the subordinate was about to commit such acts or had done so and the superior failed to take necessary and reasonable measures to prevent such acts or to punish the perpetrators.
ولا يعفي ارتكاب المرؤوس لأي فعل من الأفعال المشار إليها في المواد 171 إلى 175 و177 إلى 179 من القانون، رئيسه من المسؤولية الجنائية إن كان يعلم، أو كانت لديه أسباب تدعوه للعلم بأن ذلك المرؤوس كان على وشك ارتكاب هذه الأفعال أو أنه ارتكبها فعلا ولم يتخذ الرئيس التدابير الضرورية والمعقولة لمنع ارتكاب تلك الأفعال أو معاقبة مرتكبيها.

4. The acts provided for under paragraph 3 of this article which are committed:
4 - إذا ارتكبت الأفعال المشار إليها في الفقرة 3 من هذه المادة:

Where the actions referred to in the present article are carried out in the full view and hearing of participants at a meeting, such persons shall be assumed to have given their consent. "
يفترض الرضا إذا ارتكبت الأفعال المشار إليها في هذه المادة أثناء اجتماع على مرأى ومسمع من المشاركين فيه.

Note: the act referred to in paragraph 1 of this article is deemed to have been committed on a large scale if the value of the goods transferred is more than 30 times the average monthly wage.
ملاحظــة: يعتبر أن الأفعال المشار إليها في الفقرة 1 من هذه المادة قد ارتـُـكبت على نطاق واسع إذا كانت قيمة البضائع المنقولة تزيد على 30 ضعفا من الأجر الشهري المتوسط.
