In Article 5 governing the procedures for banned or severely restricted chemicals, under its paragraph 1, each Party that has adopted a final regulatory action is required to notify the secretariat in writing of such action, and such notification needs to contain the information required by Annex I, where available.
7 - في المادة 5 التي تحكم الإجراءات المتعلقة بالمواد الكيميائية المحظورة أو المقيدة بشدة، جاء في الفقرة الأولى أنه على كل طرف يعتمد إجراءً تنظيمياً نهائياً أن يخطر الأمانة كتابة بهذا الإجراء، وينبغي أن يتضمن هذا الإخطار المعلومات المطلوبة بمقتضى المرفق الأول، ما كانت متاحة.

9. Under paragraph 2 of article 5, each Party shall, at the date of entry into force of this Convention for it, notify the secretariat in writing of its final regulatory actions in effect at that time, except that each Party that has submitted notifications of final regulatory actions under the Amended London Guidelines or the International Code of Conduct need not resubmit those notifications.
9 - و بموجب الفقرة 2 من المادة 5، يقوم كل طرف في تاريخ دخول الاتفاقية حيز النفاذ بالنسبة له بإخطار الأمانة كتابة بإجراءاته التنظيمية النهائية السارية في ذلك الوقت، فيما عدا أنه لا يتعين على أي طرف يكون قد قدم إخطارات بإجراءات تنظيمية نهائية بموجب مبادئ لندن التوجيهية المعدلة أو مدونة السلوك الدولية أن يعيد تقديم هذه الإخطارات.
