وتدعو توصية أخرى للقرار 61/6 إلى تنظيم الجلسة البرلمانية السنوية التي تعقد في الأمم المتحدة وغيرها من الاجتماعات البرلمانية المتخصصة التي تنظم في الأمم المتحدة باعتبارها اجتماعات مشتركة بين الأمم المتحدة والاتحاد البرلماني الدولي.

Also requests the independent expert to take into account the outcomes of all major United Nations and other global summits and ministerial meetings in the economic and social fields and to seek views and contributions from Governments, United Nations agencies, other relevant international organizations and nongovernmental organizations in the discharge of his/her mandate;
8- تطلب أيضا إلى الخبير المستقل أن يراعي نتائج جميع مؤتمرات القمة العالمية الكبرى التي تعقدها الأمم المتحدة وغيرها من الاجتماعات العالمية والاجتماعات الوزارية في الميدانين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي وأن يلتمس لدى اضطلاعه بولايته، آراء ومساهمات الحكومات، ووكالات الأمم المتحدة، وغيرها من المنظمات الدولية والمنظمات غير الحكومية ذات الصلة؛
