" 16. Requests the Secretary-General to submit to the General Assembly at its sixtieth session a report on the implementation of the present resolution under the sub-item entitled `Preventing and combating corrupt practices and transfer of funds and assets of illicit origin and returning such assets to the countries of origin'. "

The General Assembly had earlier decided, in resolution 58/205 of 23 December 2003, to include in the provisional agenda of its fifty-ninth session a sub-item entitled " Preventing and combating corrupt practices and transfer of funds and assets of illicit origin and returning such funds and assets to the countries of origin " .
وكانت الجمعية العامة قد قررت من قبل، في القرار 58/205 المؤرخ 23 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2003، أن تدرج في جدول الأعمال المؤقت لدورتها التاسعة والخمسين بندا فرعيا عنوانه " منع ومكافحة الممارسات الفاسدة وتحويل الأموال والأصول المتأتية من مصدر غير مشروع وإعادة تلك الأموال والأصول إلى بلدانها الأصلية " .

" 5. Also encourages all Member States that have not yet done so to enact laws to prevent and combat corrupt practices and the transfer of illicit funds and assets and for the return of such funds and assets to the countries of origin;
" 5 - تشجع جميع الدول الأعضاء التي لم تقم بعد بسن قوانين لمنع ومكافحة الممارسات الفاسدة وتحويل الأموال والأصول المتأتية من مصدر غير مشروع وإعادة تلك الأموال والأصول إلى بلدانها الأصلية، على أن تقوم بذلك؛

6. Requests the international community to support national efforts to strengthen human and institutional capacity and regulatory frameworks for preventing corruption, bribery, money laundering and the transfer of funds and assets of illicit origin, and to assist in the return of such funds and assets to the countries of origin;
6 - تطلب إلى المجتمع الدولي دعم الجهود الوطنية الرامية إلى تعزيز القدرة البشرية والمؤسسية والأطر التنظيمية لمنع الفساد والرشوة وغسل الأموال وتحويل الأموال والأصول المتأتية من مصدر غير مشروع، والمساعدة في إعادة تلك الأموال والأصول إلى بلدانها الأصلية.

" وإذ ترى أن منع الممارسات الفاسدة وتحويل الأموال والأصول المتأتية من مصدر غير مشروع وإعادة تلك الأموال والأصول إلى بلدانها الأصلية، لم تحظ بتنظيم كاف من خلال التشريعات الوطنية والصكوك القانونية الدولية،

" Emphasizing the responsibilities of all Governments to enact laws aimed at preventing and combating corrupt practices and transfer of funds and assets of illicit origin and return of such funds and assets to the countries of origin,
" وإذ تؤكد المسؤوليات الملقاة على عاتق جميع الحكومات لسن القوانين الرامية إلى منع ومكافحة الممارسات الفاسدة وتحويل الأموال والأصول المتأتية من مصدر غير مشروع وإعادة تلك الأموال والأصول إلى بلدانها الأصلية،

2. Recognizes the urgent need to repatriate such illicit funds to the countries of origin and urges all States to commit their political will to act together to recover the proceeds of corruption, including by repatriating illicit funds and assets to the countries of origin;
2- يسلّم بالحاجة الملحة إلى إعادة هذه الأموال المتأتية من مصدر غير مشروع إلى بلدانها الأصلية ويحث جميع الدول على إبداء الإرادة السياسية للعمل معاً بغية استعادة الأموال المتحصلة من الفساد، بما في ذلك بإعادة الأموال والأصول المتأتية من مصدر غير مشروع إلى بلدانها الأصلية؛

2. Recognizes the urgent need to repatriate such illicit funds to the countries of origin and urges all States to commit their political will to act together to recover the proceeds of corruption, including by repatriating illicit funds and assets to the countries of origin;
