In both instances, such gift should be reported and entrusted to the Secretary-General, who will either retain it for the Organization or arrange for its disposal for the benefit of the Organization or for a charitable purpose.
وفي الحالتين يبلَّغ الأمين العام بهذه الهدية وتسلَّم له، فإما أن يحتفظ الأمين العام بها للمنظمة أو يرتب أمر التصرف بها لمنفعة المنظمة أو لغرض خيري.

(b) If refusal of an unanticipated honour, decoration, favour or gift from a Government would cause embarrassment to the Authority, the staff member may receive it on behalf of the Authority and then report and entrust it to the Secretary-General, who will either retain it for the Authority or arrange for its disposal for the benefit of the Authority or for a charitable purpose.
(ب) إذا كان رفض تكريم أو وسام أو صنيع أو هدية غير منتظرة من حكومة من الحكومات يسبب إحراجا للسلطة، جاز للموظف أن يتسلمها باسم السلطة ثم يبلغ الأمين العام بها ويسلمها له، فإما أن يحتفظ الأمين العام بها للسلطة أو يرتب أمر التصرف فيها لمنفعة السلطة أو لغرض خيري.

بيد أنه إذا كان رفض تكريم أو وسام أو جميل أو هدية غير منتظرة من حكومة من الحكومات يسبب إحراجا للمنظمة، جاز للموظف أن يتسلمها باسم المنظمة شريطة أن يتم إبلاغ الأمين العام بها وتسليمها له من خلال الإجراءات المعمول بها.

If circumstances do not allow for prior approval or if refusal of an unanticipated honour, decoration, favour or gift, including a minor gift of essentially nominal value, would cause embarrassment to the Organization, staff members may receive it on behalf of the Organization provided that it is reported and entrusted to the Secretary-General through established procedures.
