It should be noted that, while the first analytical exercise based on the data generated from the first leg of the fourth UNCCD reporting cycle aims to provide a set of baseline statistics, the analyses that will be conducted in subsequent reporting cycles will allow for more accurate identification of trends, measurement of flows and progress reviews.
39- وتجدر الإشارة إلى أنه إذا كانت أول عملية تحليلية تُجرى استناداً إلى البيانات المستمدة من جولة الإبلاغ الرابعة في إطار الاتفاقية تهدف إلى إتاحة مجموعة من الإحصاءات المرجعية، فالتحليلات التي ستُجرى في جولات الإبلاغ اللاحقة ستتيح مزيداً من الدقة في تحديد الاتجاهات وقياس التدفقات واستعراض التقدم.

76. Since the 1995 report, the subsequent reporting period witnessed much progress. New laws were passed that included and supported women's participation in public life. Law No 22/1999 on Local Government and Law No 25/1999 on Balanced Finances between Central and Local Governments encouraged the participation and democratization of the community, thus making it possible for women to be involved in the development of their communities.
76 - منذ تقرير عام 1995 شهدت فترة الإبلاغ اللاحقة كثيراً من التقدّم حيث صدرت قوانين جديدة شملت وأيدت مشاركة المرأة في الحياة العامة فالقانون رقم 22/1999 بشأن الحكم المحلي والقانون رقم 25/1999 بشأن الجوانب المالية المتوازنة بين الحكومة المركزية والحكومات المحلية شجع المشاركة والتحوّل الديمقراطي للمجتمع ومن ثم إتاحة الفرصة أمام مشاركة المرأة في تنمية مجتمعها.
