وأوصت اللجنة قبرص بإجراء تحقيقات عاجلة في جميع ادعاءات الإساءة اللفظية والاعتداءات الجسدية المرتكبة بدوافع عنصرية، وبمقاضاة من تثبت مسؤوليتهم عنها ومعاقبتهم على النحو الملائم وتقديم التعويض إلى الضحايا، وكذا باتخاذ جميع التدابير اللازمة لمنع تكرار هذه الأفعال في المستقبل(42).

30. The Council of Europe's Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (CoE-CPT) recommended that law enforcement officials throughout Italy be reminded, at regular intervals, that all forms of ill-treatment (including verbal abuse) of persons deprived of their liberty were not acceptable and would be punished accordingly.
30- وأوصت لجنة مجلس أوروبا لمنع التعذيب وغيره من ضروب المعاملة أو العقوبة اللاإنسانية أو المهينة بتذكير الموظفين المكلفين بإنفاذ القانون في كل أنحاء إيطاليا، على فترات منتظمة، بأنّ جميع أشكال المعاملة السيئة (بما فيها الإساءة اللفظية) للأشخاص المحرومين من حريتهم غير مقبولة وسيُعاقب عليها تبعاً لذلك(51).
