The Penal Reform Strategic Plan was finalized and submitted to the Assistant Minister for Corrections and Rehabilitation.
اكتمل وضع الخطة الاستراتيجية للإصلاح الجنائي وعُرضت على مساعد وزير الإصلاحيات والتأهيل.

This plan follows the Liberia National Police strategic plan and the Bureau of Corrections and Rehabilitation strategic plan, both launched in 2009.

In the context of the upcoming electoral campaign and the UNMIL drawdown, the lack of relevant infrastructure, training and equipment of the law enforcement agencies (Liberia National Police, Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization, Bureau of Corrections and Rehabilitation) remain a major concern.
