The Territory is represented at the meetings of the Caribbean Group for Cooperation in Economic Development, sponsored by the World Bank, and it receives some support from the United Nations Development Programme and United Nations Volunteers.

The need to further strengthen technical assistance activities, particularly in South-East Europe, the South Caucasus and Central Asia, and to improve cooperation with other parts of the United Nations family such as the United Nations Development Programme and the United Nations Environment Programme was also underscored.
