Furthermore, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has acceded to various conventions, including the Arab Convention for the Suppression of Terrorism, pursuant to which incitement to terrorism is a criminal offence.
إضافة إلى أن المملكة العربية السعودية انضمت إلى عدة اتفاقيات ومنها الاتفاقية العربية لمكافحة الإرهاب والتي تضمنت في أحكامها تجريم التحريض على الإرهاب.

The process for ratifying the Arab Convention on the Suppression of Terrorism was under way.

On the other hand, the Arab Convention against the illicit use and traffic in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, adopted by the Council in 1994, is an effective legal coordination tool among our Arab countries in combating this phenomenon.
ومن جهة أخرى، تشكل الاتفاقية العربية لمكافحة الاتجار غير المشروع بالمخدرات والمؤثرات العقلية التي أقرها المجلس في عام ١٩٩٤ أداة قانونية فعالة للتنسيق بين بلداننا العربية في مجال التصدي لهذه الظاهرة.

Taking account of the provisions of the Arab Convention for the Suppression of Terrorism,
- وإذ يأخذ في الاعتبار أحكام الاتفاقية العربية لمكافحة الإرهاب،

Article 4 of the Arab Convention for the Suppression of Terrorism provides as follows:
- نصت المادة الرابعة من الاتفاقية العربية لمكافحة الإرهاب على ما يلي:

the Arab Convention for the Suppression of Terrorism prohibits the use of the territory of a State as a base for the planning or commission of terrorist crimes.
- قضت الاتفاقية العربية لمكافحة الإرهاب على منع اتخاذ أراضي الدولة مسرحا لتخطيط أو تنفيذ الجرائم الإرهابية.

All the procedures and mechanisms in place to assist the contracting parties to the Arab Convention for the Suppression of Terrorism in investigations and judicial proceedings relating to terrorist crimes are set forth in article 13 and subsequent articles of the Convention.
الاتفاقية العربية لمكافحة الإرهاب نظمت هذه الاتفاقية في المواد 13 وما بعدها كافة الإجراءات والآليات القائمة لمساعدة الدول المتعاقدة في التحقيقات وإجراءات المحاكمة المتعلقة بالجرائم الإرهابية.

3. To call upon those Arab States which have not ratified the Arab Convention on the Suppression of Terrorism (1998) to do so;

Article 4, paragraph 2, of the Arab Convention on the Suppression of Terrorism of 1998 provides:

At the regional level, it had promoted the Arab Convention on the Suppression of Terrorism of 1998 and the two conventions adopted in 1999 under the auspices of the Organization of African Unity and the Organization of the Islamic Conference.
وعلى الصعيد الإقليمي، كانت مصر قوة دافعة في إبرام الاتفاقية العربية لمكافحة الإرهاب لعام 1998 وكذلك اتفاقيتي مكافحة الإرهاب الدولي اللتين صدرتا في إطار منظمة الوحدة الأفريقية ومنظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي.

3. By Act No. 6 of 1995, Kuwait had ratified the Arab Convention against Illicit Use of and Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances and, at the international level, it had ratified the 1988 United Nations Convention against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances in October 1989.
3 - واستطرد قائلا إن الكويت صدقت بمقتضى القانون رقم 6 لعام 1995 على الاتفاقية العربية لمكافحة الاتجار غير المشروع بالمخدرات والمؤثرات العقلية، وعلى المستوى الدولي، وقّعت في تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 1989 على اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لعام 1988 بشأن مكافحة الاتجار غير المشروع بالمخدرات والمؤثرات العقلية.
