21. In that respect, in its resolution 6/1, the Conference of the Parties requested UNODC to continue to establish networks and other mechanisms to facilitate formal and informal cooperation, including through regional and interregional meetings and exchanges of experience among practitioners.
٢١- وفي هذا الصَّدد، طلب مؤتمر الأطراف، في قراره 6/1، من المكتب أن يواصلَ إنشاء الشبكات وغيرها من الآليات لتيسير التعاون، الرسمي وغير الرسمي، بما في ذلك من خلال الاجتماعات الإقليمية والأقاليمية وتبادُل الخبرات فيما بين الممارسين.

" 6. Requests the Secretary-General through the Department of Economic and Social Affairs to prepare a report on the outcomes of the regional and interregional meetings of small island developing States, as convened pursuant to resolution 59/311, as well as other contributions, and to report thereon to the Commission on Sustainable Development at its fourteenth session;

(e) To continue facilitating regional and interregional meetings and exchanges of experience among practitioners, with a view to taking stock of and sharing the knowledge acquired through the digest.
(ﻫ) مواصلة تيسير الاجتماعات الإقليمية والأقاليمية وتبادل الخبرات بين الممارسين بغية الاستفادة من المعارف المكتسبة عن طريق الخلاصة وتبادل تلك المعارف.

(h) Invite Member States to establish networks and other mechanisms to facilitate formal and informal cooperation, including through regional and interregional meetings and exchanges of experience among practitioners;

13. The Department of Economic and Social Affairs, with the cooperation and support of the donor community, will make resources available from a trust fund established to support the Mauritius Strategy process, to facilitate the participation of representatives of small island developing States in the regional and interregional meetings.

The increase of $53,400 in non-post resources is largely the result of increased consultancy requirements and increased travel requirements, owing to the steadily increasing need for the participation of secretariat staff at regional and interregional meetings on trade negotiations.
