ويتوخـــى القرار الملحق بالاتفاقية بشأن " الاجراءات العاجلة لصالح افريقيا " ، ضمن جملة أمور، قيام مشاركة بين السكان المحليين والمنظمات غير الحكوميـــة فـــي تطوير برامج العمل وفي تنفيذها، فضلا عن دمج برامج العمل التي ترمي إلى مكافحة التصحر وتخفيف آثار الجفاف في سياسات وطنية للتنمية المستدامة.

3. Invites signatories of the Convention, in addition to the information provided at the time of signature, to continue to communicate to the interim secretariat of the Convention information on actions taken or envisaged for the implementation of the provisions of Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee resolution 5/1 on urgent action for Africa; 10/
٣ - تدعو الجهات الموقعة على الاتفاقية أن تقوم، باﻹضافة إلى المعلومات التي قدمتها إلى اﻷمانة المؤقتة للاتفاقية وقت التوقيع، بمواصلة تقديم المعلومات إلى اﻷمانة فيما يتعلق بالتدابير التي اتخذت أو التي يتوخى اتخاذها تنفيذا ﻷحكام القرار ٥/١ الصادر عن لجنة التفاوض الحكومية الدولية بشأن الاجراءات العاجلة لصالح افريقيا)١٠(؛

Paragraph 6 of resolution 6/1 on the programme of work for the interim period requested " INCD Members, United Nations programmes and agencies, as well as relevant intergovernmental organizations, to submit to the Secretariat updated reports on measures taken or planned for the implementation of the urgent action for Africa and action in other regions... " .
وقد طُلب في الفقرة ٦ من القرار ٦/١ المتعلق ببرنامج العمل للفترة المؤقتة " من أعضاء لجنة التفاوض الحكومية الدولية، وبرامج ووكالات اﻷمم المتحدة، فضلا عن المنظمات الحكومية الدولية ذات الصلة، تزويد اﻷمانة العامة بتقارير مستكملة حول التدابير المتخذة، أو المزمع اتخاذها من أجل تنفيذ الاجراءات العاجلة لصالح افريقيا والاجراءات في المناطق اﻷخرى ...
