٤ - وبناء على نتائج الاستقصاء والتقييم المشار إليهما في الفقرة ٣، تقدم اللجنة توصيات إلى مؤتمر اﻷطراف بشأن طرق ووسائل تيسير وتعزيز الربط الشبكي بين الوحدات على الصعيدين المحلي والوطني واﻷصعدة اﻷخرى، بغية ضمان تناول الحاجات الموضوعية المنصوص عليها في المواد ٦١ إلى ٩١ من الاتفاقية.

It is anticipated that the first session of the Conference of the Parties will commission an organization or organizations, in accordance with the recommendation contained in INCD decision 10/10, to carry out such a survey and evaluation and to report to the second session of the COP; the conduct of the work will be coordinated by the Secretariat.
ومن المتوقع أن تقوم الدورة اﻷولى لمؤتمر اﻷطراف بتكليف منظمة أو منظمات، وفقاً للتوصية الواردة في مقرر لجنة التفاوض الحكومية الدولية ٠١/٠١، بإجراء ذينك الاستقصاء والتقييم وبتقديم تقرير عنهما إلى الدورة الثانية لمؤتمر اﻷطراف؛ وستتولى اﻷمانة تنسيق سير العمل.

2. By its decision 10/10, taken at its tenth session, the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee for Desertification (INCD) invited the Secretariat to solicit proposals to undertake such a survey and evaluation and to arrange for circulation of executive summaries of these proposals in advance of the first session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 1).
٢- ودعت لجنة التفاوض الحكومية الدولية المعنية بالتصحر، بموجب مقررها ٠١/٠١ المتخذ في دورتها العاشرة، اﻷمانة إلى التماس مقترحات ﻹجراء الاستقصاء والتقييم واتخاذ الترتيبات لتعميم موجزات تنفيذية لهذه المقترحات قبل انعقاد الدورة اﻷولى لمؤتمر اﻷطراف.
