183. The Committee recommends that, taking into account the Committee's general comment No. 4 of 2003 on adolescent health and development in the context of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the State party:

In all these actions, the State party should fully take into account the Committee's general comment No. 2 (2002) on the role of independent national human rights institutions in the promotion and protection of the rights of the child.

The Committee encourages the State party to take effective measures to protect traditional knowledge and cultural expressions, taking into account the Committee's general comment No. 21 (2009) on the right of everyone to take part in cultural life.
تشجع اللجنة الدولة الطرف على اتخاذ تدابير فعالة لحماية المعارف التقليدية وأشكال التعبير الثقافي آخذة بعين الاعتبار تعليق اللجنة العام رقم 21(2009) بشأن حق كل فرد في المشاركة في الحياة الثقافية.

To this effect, the State party should take into account the Committee's general comment No. 5 (2003) on the general measures of implementation for the Convention (CRC/GC/2003/5).
