وتجاهلت المحكمة أيضاً ادعاءات صاحب البلاغ التي تفيد بأنه تعرض للتعذيب وأُجبر على الاعتراف بذنبه.

2.4 The author reiterates that during the preliminary investigation, his son was beaten and tortured by policemen and forced to confess his guilt.
2-4 ويكرر صاحب البلاغ قوله بأن نجله تعرض أثناء التحقيق الأولي للضرب والتعذيب من قبل رجال الشرطة وأُكره على الاعتراف بذنبه.

2.2 During the first days following the arrest, the author's son was allegedly beaten and tortured by the investigators and was forced to confess his guilt.
2-2 ويُزعم أن ابن صاحبة البلاغ تعرَّض، خلال الأيام الأولى التي تلت توقيفه، للضرب والتعذيب على أيدي المحققين، وأُجبر على الاعتراف بذنبه.

7.3 The Committee notes the author's claim that the investigators forced his son to confess his guilt in a murder, in violation of article 7 of the Covenant.

According to the author, article 14, paragraph 3 (g) was violated in the case of his son, as he was forced by the investigators to confess his guilt on every charge.
3-7 وحسب صاحب البلاغ، انتهكت أحكام الفقرة 3(ز) من المادة 14 في قضية ابنه، لأن المحققين أجبروه على الاعتراف بذنبه في كل تهمة موجهة إليه.
