The developing countries made their views and expectations on an agenda for development known in the Ministerial Declaration issued by the Group of 77 on the occasion of its thirtieth anniversary.
وقد أعربت البلدان النامية عن آرائها وتوقعاتها بشأن خطة للتنمية وذلك في الاعلان الوزاري الذي أصدرته مجموعة اﻟ ٧٧ بمناسبة الاحتفال بالذكرى الثلاثين ﻹنشائها.

In preparation for the Seattle Ministerial Conference, some countries proposed that the Ministerial Declaration should contain a reference to certain environmental principles contained in the Rio Declaration, such as the precautionary principle and the polluter pays principle.
وفي إطار الإعداد للمؤتمر الوزاري في سياتل، اقترحت بعض البلدان أنه يتعين أن يتضمن الاعلان الوزاري إشارة إلى بعض المبادئ البيئية الواردة في إعلان ريو، مثل المبدأ الوقائي ومبدأ المسؤولية عن التلويث.

Venezuela is concerned to ensure that the process of discussion and agreement should be widely-based and transparent, and reserves its position on the Ministerial Declaration.

وفي هذا الصدد، أود أن أوجه انتباهكم إلى الاعلان الوزاري لمجموعة اﻟ ٧٧ المعتمد بمناسبة الاجتماع السنوي الثامن عشر لمجموعة اﻟ ٧٧ المعقود في مقر اﻷمم المتحدة بنيويورك في ٣٠ أيلول/سبتمبر ١٩٩٤.

The report has been further enriched by the constructive proposals contained in the Ministerial Declaration of the Group of 77 adopted on 24 June 1994 in New York.
وقد جاءت المقترحات البناءة الواردة في الاعلان الوزاري لمجموعة السبعة والسبعين المعتمد في ٢٤ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٤ في نيويورك، معززة للتقرير.

٨٣- اعترف الاعلان الوزاري الذي افتتح جولة أوروغواي في بونتا دل إيستي بالحالة الخاصة التي تواجهها أقل البلدان نمواً حيث نص على ضرورة إيلاء اهتمام خاص الى الحالة الخاصة ﻷقل البلدان نمواً والى مشاكلها والى ضرورة تشجيع اتخاذ تدابير ايجابية لتسهيل توسيع فرصها التجارية.

4. The Ministerial Declarations of the regional groups, and above all the Ministerial Declaration of the Group of 77, underlined the negative character of these measures, and a formulation on this matter had been retained in the negotiating process of the Conference right up to the last minute.
٤- ولقد أكدت الاعلانات الوزارية للمجموعات الاقليمية، وفي مقدمتها الاعلان الوزاري لمجموعة اﻟ٧٧، الطابع السلبي لهذه التدابير، وتم الاتفاق، حتى الدقيقة اﻷخيرة من عملية التفاوض في المؤتمر، على إيراد صيغة بشأن هذه المسألة.

His delegation had developed the draft resolution in consultation with UNCTAD with a view to affirming the outcome of the Symposium, especially the Ministerial Declaration and promoting the concept of electronic commerce. ٢٦ - وقال إن وفده قد وضع مشروع القرار بالتشاور مع مؤتمر اﻷمم المتحدة للتجارة والتنمية بهدف تأكيد نتيجة الندوة ولا سيما الاعلان الوزاري وتعزيز مفهوم التجارة الالكترونية، وإنه يأمل في أن تنضم وفود أخرى الى مقدمي مشروع القرار.

بالاضافة إلى البيان الذي أصدرته في ٨١ تموز/يوليه مجموعة بلدان منها الاتحاد الروسي)١(، نود أن نلاحظ أن من بين اﻷسباب الرئيسية لموقفنا عدم تضمن مشروع الاعلان الوزاري رأي عدد من الدول بشأن تقرير الفريق الحكومي الدولي المعني بتغير المناخ، فهذا الرأي يفيد بأن تقرير الفريق لا يوفر تقديرات للمستويات الخطيرة من تركيزات غازات الدفيئة في الجو.

Mr. DI LISCIA (Assistant Director-General and Director of the UNIDO Geneva Office) said that the Ministerial Declaration resulting from the Fourth Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization (WTO) held at Doha, Qatar, in November 2001, by placing technical cooperation and capacity-building at the core of the development dimension of the multilateral trading system, had provided the opportunity that UNIDO had been waiting for.
