1. Centre for French-speaking African countries
١ - مركز البلدان الافريقية الناطقة بالفرنسية

The francophone African States differed, for example, from those States with political and administrative structures based on the Westminster model.
فالدول الافريقية الناطقة بالفرنسية تختلف، مثلا، عن الدول ذات الهياكل السياسية واﻹدارية التي تقوم على النموذج الانكليزي.

The Fund also reviewed curricula and materials of 14 francophone African countries in order to help them assess progress in introducing population education into their school systems.
كما استعرض الصندوق مناهج ومواد ١٤ من البلدان الافريقية الناطقة بالفرنسية لمساعدتها علـى تقييم التقدم المحرز في إدخال التعليم السكاني في أنظمتها المدرسية.

The Subcommittee noted with satisfaction that the Centre for Space Science and Technology Education for French-speaking African Countries would be inaugurated in Morocco from 23 to 24 April 1998 with the agreement of the Office for Outer Space Affairs.

37. Morocco has circulated the draft agreement on the Centre to be hosted by it, for review and comments by, and concurrence of, French-speaking African countries.
٧٣ - عممت المغرب مشروع اتفاق بشأن المركز الذي ستستضيفه لكي تقوم البلدان الافريقية الناطقة بالفرنسية باستعراضه والتعليق عليه واعتماده .

In January this year the regional workshop held in Abidjan on public administration and administrative reform in the French-speaking African countries reaffirmed the importance and urgent need to establish a less cumbersome, more competent and better-paid civil service that does not obstruct a country's development.
وفي كانون الثاني/يناير من هذا العام فإن ورشة العمل اﻹقليمية المعقودة في أبيدجان بشأن اﻹدارة العامة والاصلاح اﻹداري في البلدان الافريقية الناطقة بالفرنسية أكدت من جديد على اﻷهمية والحاجـــة الملحة ﻹنشاء خدمة مدنية أقل إرباكا وأكثر كفاءة وذات أجور أفضل لا تعيق تنمية البلد.

The Committee noted that the offers and commitments of Morocco and Nigeria favoured the early establishment, operation and long-term sustainability of a centre for space science and technology education in Morocco for French-speaking African countries and such a centre in Nigeria for English-speaking African countries.
٤٥ - ولاحظت اللجنة أن عروض والتزامات المغرب ونيجيريا يساعدان على التبكير بإنشاء مركز لتعليم علوم وتكنولوجيا الفضاء في المغرب لصالح البلدان الافريقية الناطقة بالفرنسية ومركز مماثل في نيجيريا لصالح البلدان الافريقية الناطقة بالانكليزية، وتشغيلهما واستمرارهما على المدى البعيد.

The progressive arrival of Ghanian and Ethiopian contingents and the grouping of the five French-speaking African contingents in the area of Kibuyé and Musange allowed control of the safe humanitarian zone to be transferred to the United Nations Assistance Mission for Rwanda (UNAMIR) on 21 August 1994.
وقد سمح الوصول التدريجي للوحدات الغانية والاثيوبية وكذلك تجمع الوحدات الافريقية الناطقة بالفرنسية الخمس في منطقة كيبوي وموسانج، باسناد رقابة المنطقة اﻹنسانية اﻵمنة إلى بعثة اﻷمم المتحدة لتقديم المساعدة إلى رواندا في ٢١ آب/أغسطس ١٩٩٤.

French units based in Goma, Zaire, provided logistical support for the French-speaking African contingents by using barges to conduct the necessary replenishment and supply operations.
قامت العناصر الفرنسية المتمركزة في غوما )زائير( بتأمين الدعم اللوجيستي للوحدات الافريقية الناطقة بالفرنسية وذلك بتزويدها بالمؤن والمعدات بواسطة قوارب.

8. Morocco (host of the centre for French-speaking African countries) will shortly be circulating the draft agreement on the centre to be hosted by it, for the review, comments and concurrence of French-speaking African countries.
٨ - سوف يعمم المغرب )البلد المضيف للمركز الخاص بالبلدان الافريقية الناطقة بالفرنسية( قريبا مشروع الاتفاق بشأن المركز المزمع أن يستضيفه ، ﻷجل استعراضه من جانب البلدان الافريقية الناطقة بالفرنسية والتعليق عليه والتوصل الى توافق اﻵراء بشأنه .

Regarding the centres in Africa, the Subcommittee noted that Morocco (for the French-speaking African States) and Nigeria (for the English-speaking African States) had developed and circulated for comment, agreements that would be entered into by the States concerned.
٥٤ - وفيما يتعلق بمركزي افريقيا ، لاحظت اللجنة الفرعية أن المغرب )نيابة عن الدول الافريقية الناطقة بالفرنسية( ، ونيجيريا )نيابة عن الدول الافريقية الناطقة بالانكليزية( قد أعدتا اتفاقات ستعمم على تلك الدول للتعليق عليها بهدف الانضمام اليها لاحقا .

A separate INFOODS regional database for francophone African countries is also under consideration.
كما يجري النظر في إقامة قاعدة بيانات اقليمية مستقلة للشبكة الدولية لنظم البيانات الغذائية للبلدان الافريقية الناطقة بالفرنسية.

In addition, in 1991 and 1992, two training workshops were organized in Montreal and Ouagadougou for participants of francophone African countries in the analysis and utilization of census data and on the use of REDATAM and PopMap respectively.
وباﻹضافة الى ذلك، نُظمت في عامي ١٩٩١ و ١٩٩٢ حلقتان تدريبيتان في مونتريال وأغادوغو للمشتركين من البلدان الافريقية الناطقة بالفرنسية في مجال تحليل واستخدام بيانات التعدادات وكذلك فيما يتصل باستخدام برنامجي استرجاع بيانات التعدادات من المناطق الصغيرة )REDATAM( والخرائط السكانية PopMap)(، على التوالي.
