Requests the specialized agencies and other organizations of the United Nations system, as well as regional and other multilateral financial institutions, to continue their assistance to the Territory in the strengthening, development and diversification of the economy of Montserrat in accordance with its medium- and long-term development plans.
٢ - تطلب الى الوكالات المتخصصة وسائر مؤسسات منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة، وكذلك المؤسسات المالية الاقليمية وغيرها من المؤسسات المالية المتعددة اﻷطراف، أن تواصل تقديم مساعدتها الى الاقليم في تعزيز اقتصاد مونتسيرات وتنميته وتنويعه وفقا لخطتيه الانمائيتين المتوسطة اﻷجل والطويلة اﻷجل.

2. ٦ - تحث الوكالات المتخصصة والمؤسسات اﻷخرى في منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة، فضلا عن المؤسسات المالية الاقليمية وغيرها من المؤسسات المالية المتعددة اﻷطراف، على مواصلة توسيع نطاق مساعداتها المقدمة إلى الاقليم لتعزيز اقتصاد مونتسيرات وتطويره وتنويعه وفقا لخططها الانمائية المتوسطة اﻷجل والطويلة اﻷجل؛

6. Urges the specialized agencies and other organizations of the United Nations system, as well as regional and other multilateral financial institutions, to continue to expand their assistance to the Territory in the strengthening, development and diversification of the economy of Montserrat in accordance with its medium-term and long-term development plans;

Pakistan has proposed the holding of a conference on nuclear non-proliferation in South Asia under the auspices of the United Nations, with the participation of regional and other interested States. 11/ India, one of the major States in the region, has, however, taken the position that without a proper definition of the geographic extent, security needs and concerns of a region, endorsement of the concept would be inappropriate.
وقد اقترحت باكستان أن يعقد، تحت رعاية اﻷمم المتحدة وبمشاركة من دول المنطقة الاقليمية وغيرها من الدول المهتمة باﻷمر، مؤتمر معني بعدم الانتشار النووي في جنوب آسيا)١١(. إلا أن الهند، وهي إحدى الدول الرئيسية في المنطقة الاقليمية، تذهب الى القول بأنه لن يكون من المناسب تأييد هذا المفهوم دون توفر تحديد، على الوجه الصحيح، للنطاق الجغرافي للمنطقة الاقليمية واحتياجاتها واهتماماتها اﻷمنية.
