11. The following States Parties to the Convention, which have notified their consent to be bound by Protocol V, but for which it is not yet in force, participated in the work of the Conference: Canada, Chile, and Latvia.
11- وشاركت في أعمال المؤتمر الدول التالية الأطراف في الاتفاقية التي أخطرت بموافقتها على الالتزام بالبروتوكول الخامس ولكن لم يبدأ سريان البروتوكول الخامس فيما يخصها: شيلي وكندا ولاتفيا.

Arrangements for ratification of amended article 1 of the Convention were progressing, while the Government had taken steps in order to be able to notify its consent to be bound by Protocol V. Through those measures, Poland had reaffirmed its support for humanitarian law and the protection of civilians from certain conventional weapons which had indiscriminate effects.
وأضاف أن إجراءات التصديق على المادة الأولى المعدلة من الاتفاقية تمضي قُدماً، في حين اتخذت الحكومة التدابير اللازمة لإعلان الموافقة على الالتزام بالبروتوكول الخامس. وبهذه التدابير، أثبتت بولندا تمسكها بالقانون الإنساني وحرصها على حماية المدنيين من بعض الأسلحة التقليدية العشوائية الأثر.

25. The Eighth Conference welcomed the States, which have consented to be bound by Protocol V since the Seventh Conference: Greece and Iraq.
٢٥- رحَّب المؤتمر الثامن بالدولتين اللتين قبلتا الالتزام بالبروتوكول الخامس منذ انعقاد المؤتمر السابع وهما: اليونان والعراق.

Noting that three States had notified the depositary of their consent to be bound by Protocol V, designed to eradicate the daily threat that explosive remnants of war posed to civilian populations and to humanitarian personnel, he expressed the hope that more States parties would soon do likewise, so that the Protocol could enter into force in the near future.
وبعد أن أشار إلى أن ثلاث دول أخطرت الوديع بموافقتها على الالتزام بالبروتوكول الخامس الذي يهدف إلى القضاء على الخطر الدائم الذي تشكله المتفجرات من مخلفات الحرب للسكان المدنيين وموظفي المساعدة الإنسانية، أعرب عن أمله في أن يتزايد عدد الدول الأطراف التي تخطِر الوديع بموافقتها عليه كي يتسنى دخوله حيز النفاذ في المستقبل القريب.

18. At the same meeting, the Group welcomed the States Parties which had notified the Secretary-General of the United Nations of their consent to be bound by Protocol V on Explosive Remnants of War Protocol: Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, India, Liberia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Norway, Sierra Leone, Sweden and Ukraine.
18- وفي الجلسة نفسها، رحب الفريق بالدول الأطراف التي أبلغت الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة بقبولها الالتزام بالبروتوكول الخامس المتعلق بالمتفجرات من مخلفات الحرب: ألمانيا وأوكرانيا والدانمرك وبلغاريا والسويد وسيراليون وفنلندا وكرواتيا ولكسمبرغ وليبيريا وليتوانيا والنرويج ونيكاراغوا والهند وهولندا.

El Salvador, Guatemala, Guinea-Bissau, Jamaica, Liberia, Madagascar, Nicaragua, Sierra Leone, Tunisia and Uruguay have all expressed consent to be bound by Protocol V to the Convention on explosive remnants of war, which entered into force on 12 November 2006.
وأعربت كل من أوروغواي وتونس وجامايكا والسلفادور وسيراليون وغواتيمالا وغينيا - بيساو وليبريا ومدغشقر ونيكاراغوا عن موافقتها على الالتزام بالبروتوكول الخامس للاتفاقية المتعلق بالمخلفات المتفجرة للحرب الذي أصبح نافذاً في 12 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2006.

Mr. Thammavongsa (Lao People's Democratic Republic) said that the Lao People's Democratic Republic had in 2012 submitted the instrument of consent to be bound by Protocol V and had already submitted its first national report.
19- السيد تامّافونغسا (جمهورية لاو الديمقراطية الشعبية) قال إن جمهورية لاو الديمقراطية الشعبية قدمت في عام 2012 صك الموافقة على الالتزام بالبروتوكول الخامس وقدمت من قبل تقريرها الوطني الأول.

11. The following High Contracting Parties to the Convention, which has notified its consent to be bound by Protocol V, but for which it is not yet in force, participated in the work of the Conference: Argentina, Burundi and Poland.
11- وشاركت في أعمال المؤتمر الأطراف التالية المتعاقدة السامية في الاتفاقية، والتي أخطرت بموافقتها على الالتزام بالبروتوكول الخامس ولكن لم يبدأ سريان البروتوكول الخامس فيما يخصها: الأرجنتين وبوروندي وبولندا.

At the meeting the Group welcomed the 16 States Parties which had notified the Secretary-General of the United Nations of their consent to be bound by Protocol V on Explosive Remnants of War: Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Holy See, India, Liberia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Norway, Sierra Leone, Sweden and Ukraine.
كما رحب الفريق بالدول الأطراف ال16 التي أخطرت الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة بقبولها الالتزام بالبروتوكول الخامس المتعلق بالمتفجرات من مخلفات الحرب، وهي: ألمانيا وأوكرانيا وبلغاريا والدانمرك والسويد وسيراليون وفنلندا والكرسي الرسولي وكرواتيا ولكسمبرغ وليبيريا وليتوانيا والنرويج ونيكاراغوا والهند وهولندا.
