(iv) To ensure that specific provisions for children are included by the parties at all steps of the negotiations, bearing in mind the importance of holding accountable perpetrators of violations and abuses committed against children;

" The Council also reiterates its call to all parties listed in the annexes to the report of the Secretary-General on children and armed conflict to address all other violations and abuses committed against children and undertake specific commitments and measures in this regard.

(b) Strongly condemning all violations and abuses committed against children in contravention of applicable international law, including those involving killing and maiming, rape, attacks on schools and hospitals as well as the arbitrary arrest, detention, torture, ill-treatment and use of children as human shields, as described in the Secretary-General's report;
