٧٧ - أشارت اللجنة الى أن عدم تعاون الحكومة في تمويل سفر المسؤولة عن شؤون المرأة في غواتيمالا يدل على قلة اهتمامها بالموضوع؛ ومن المرجح أن تلك الحالات لم تنشأ فيما يتعلق بالتزامات غواتيمالا بموجب معاهدات حقوق الانسان اﻷخرى.

One aspect of the task of ensuring that relevant human rights mechanisms of the United Nations address, on a regular basis, violations of women's human rights is to put the considerable work of the Commission on the Status of Women and the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women at the disposal of other human rights mechanisms.
