٥ - تطلب أيضا إلى اﻷمين العام أن يقدم مقترحات لتوفير موارد إضافية للمعهد في سياق الميزانية البرنامجية التي يقترحها لفترة السنتين ١٩٩٦-١٩٩٧؛

15. Bearing in mind paragraph 9 of General Assembly resolution 48/218 B, the Advisory Committee requests the Secretary-General, in the context of his proposed programme budget for the biennium 1996-1997, to provide a comprehensive analysis and justification of human resources requirements of the Office of Internal Oversight Services.
١٥ - ومع وضع الفقرة ٩ من قرار الجمعية العامة ٤٨/٢١٨ باء في الاعتبار، تطلب اللجنة الاستشارية الى اﻷمين العام أن يقدم، في اطار الميزانية البرنامجية التي يقترحها لفترة السنتين ١٩٩٦-١٩٩٧، تحليلا شاملا وتبريرا لاحتياجات مكتب المراقبة الداخلية من الموظفين.

10. The Advisory Committee requests the Secretary-General to submit, in the context of his proposed programme budget for the biennium 1996-1997, information on the nature of expenses charged to the contingency fund so far, in order to enable the Committee to review procedures for the use, operation and level of the fund.
١٠ - وتطلب اللجنة الاستشارية الى اﻷمين العام أن يقدم في سياق الميزانية البرنامجية التي يقترحها لفترة السنتين ١٩٩٦ - ١٩٩٧، معلومات عن طبيعة النفقات المحملة على صندوق الطوارئ حتى اﻵن وذلك لتمكين اللجنة من استعراض الاجراءات المتعلقة باستخدام الصندوق وتشغيله وبمستواه.

15. ١٥ - ومع وضع الفقرة ٩ من قرار الجمعية العامة ٤٨/٢١٨ باء في الاعتبار، تطلب اللجنة الاستشارية الى اﻷمين العام أن يقدم، في اطار الميزانية البرنامجية التي يقترحها للفترة ١٩٩٦-١٩٩٧، تحليلا شاملا وتبريرا لاحتياجات مكتب المراقبة الداخلية من الموظفين.

13. In anticipation of a decision by the General Assembly on successor arrangements for the Decade, the Secretary-General has included activities related to natural disaster reduction under section 25, Humanitarian assistance, of his proposed programme budget for the biennium 2000-2001.
١٣ - وتوقعا لصدور قرار من الجمعية العامة بشأن الترتيبات التي ستخلف العقد، أدرج اﻷمين العام اﻷنشطة التي لها صلة بالحد من الكوارث الطبيعية في الباب ٢٥ من الميزانية البرنامجية التي يقترحها لفترة السنتين ٢٠٠٠-٢٠٠١، وهو الباب المعنون " المساعدة اﻹنسانية " .

In this connection, the Advisory Committee recalls its previous recommendation in paragraph 4 of its fourteenth report on the programme budget for 1992-1993 3/ on the revised estimates under section 37 " that the Secretary-General, in the context of his proposed programme budget for the biennium 1994-1995, submit his long-term proposals with respect to these regional centres, in particular as regards their financial viability " .
وفي هذا الصدد، تشير اللجنة إلى توصيتها السابقة الواردة في الفقرة ٤ من تقريرها الرابع عشر عن الميزانية البرنامجية للفترة ١٩٩٢-١٩٩٣)٣( بشأن التقديرات المنقحة تحت الباب ٣٧ حيث أوصت " بأن يقوم اﻷمين العام، في سياق الميزانية البرنامجية التي يقترحها لفترة السنتين ١٩٩٤-١٩٩٥، بتقديم مقترحاته الطويلة اﻷجل المتعلقة بهذه المراكز اﻹقليمية، وخصوصا فيما يتعلق بسلامتها المالية " .

The Committee is invited to make comments, which will be transmitted to the Committee for Programme and Coordination, the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions and the General Assembly at its fifty-eighth session for review during the consideration of the Secretary-General's proposed programme budget for the biennium 2004-2005.
2 - واللجنة مدعوة إلى إبداء ما تراه من تعليقات، وهذه ستحال إلى لجنة البرنامج والتنسيق، وإلى اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون الإدارة والميزانية، وإلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الثامنة والخمسين لاستعراضها وهي بصدد النظر في الميزانية البرنامجية التي يقترحها الأمين العام لفترة السنتين 2004-2005.

The Commission is invited to take note of the programme narrative and review the proposed outputs to be included in the Secretary-General's proposed programme budget for the biennium 2008-2009, which will be submitted to the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions and to the General Assembly at its sixty-second session.
3 - واللجنة مدعوة إلى أن تحيط علما بالسرد البرنامجي وأن تستعرض النواتج المقترحة التي سيدرجها الأمين العام في الميزانية البرنامجية التي يقترحها لفترة السنتين 2008-2009 والتي ستقدم إلى اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون الإدارة والميزانية وإلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الثانية والستين.

5. The Advisory Committee is of the view that the reclassification of the D-2 post of Deputy to the Under-Secretary-General for Safety and Security should be considered in the context of the Secretary-General's proposed programme budget for the biennium 2008-2009.
5 - وترى اللجنة الاستشارية أنه ينبغي النظر في مسألة إعادة تصنيف وظيفة وكيل الأمين العام لشؤون السلامة والأمن من الرتبة مد-2 في سياق الميزانية البرنامجية التي يقترحها الأمين العام لفترة السنتين 2008-2009.
