3.3 As to the admissibility of the case, it is stated that although the alleged discriminations have begun before 17 May 1984, date of entry into force of the Optional Protocol for France, they also remain after that date, thus constituting a continuous violation of the authors' rights.

29. Recommendation. The Committee may wish to begin to consider the implications of the adoption of the Optional Protocol for its work; it may also wish to request that an assessment of these implications be included in the report on ways and means of expediting the work of the Committee, which will be prepared for its twenty-second session in January 2000.
٩٢ - التوصية - قد تود اللجنة أن تبدأ في النظر في اﻵثار المترتبة على اعتماد البروتوكول الاختياري بالنسبة لعملها، وقد تود أيضا أن تطلب إدراج تقييم هذه اﻵثار في التقرير المتعلق بسبل ووسائل التعجيل بعمل اللجنة والذي سيتم إعداده لدورتها الثانية والعشرين التي تعقد في كانون الثاني/يناير ٠٠٠٢.

1. Pursuant to article 12, paragraph 1, of the Optional Protocol, each State party shall, within two years following the entry into force of the Optional Protocol for that State party, submit a report to the Committee on the Rights of the Child providing comprehensive information on the measures it has taken to implement the provisions of the Optional Protocol.
