Recommendation 36/14 noted with regret that Eritrea had not submitted to the Secretariat any consumption or production data in accordance with decision XVII/21 and therefore requested Eritrea to submit to the Secretariat, as a matter of urgency, the outstanding data for the consideration of the Committee at the current meeting.

In its progress report for the forty-ninth meeting of the Executive Committee to the Multilateral Fund, held in July 2006, UNIDO reported that the preparatory projects would facilitate the reporting of the outstanding data by quantifying consumption and identifying users of methyl bromide, carbon tetrachloride and methyl chloroform through a national survey.
