وفي حالات أخرى، لا يُجرى الفحص النفسي إلا إذا ارتأى الطبيب المقيّم ذلك ضرورياً لتقييم الحالة الصحية لصاحب الطلب بغرض التبني أو الكفالة، لا سيّما إذا كانت الحالة الصحية تؤثر على راحة بال صاحب الطلب.

Their objective should generally be to provide temporary care and to contribute actively to the child's family reintegration or, if this is not possible, to secure his/her stable care in an alternative family setting, including through adoption or kafala of Islamic law, where appropriate.
وينبغي عموما أن يكون هدف المرافق توفير رعاية مؤقتة للطفل والإسهام بفعالية في لم شمله بأسرته أو، إن تعذر ذلك، في تأمين رعاية مستقرة له داخل إطار أسرة بديلة، بوسائل منها التبني أو الكفالة وفقا للشريعة الإسلامية، كلما كان ذلك مناسبا.

27. A child’s views were always sought on the matter of his adoption or alternative placement.
٧٢- ويسترشد دائما بآراء الطفل في مسألة التبني أو وضعه في مكان بديل.

(a) To support efforts to keep children in, or return them to, the care of their family or, failing this, to find another appropriate and permanent solution, including adoption and kafala of Islamic law;
(أ) دعم الجهود الرامية إلى الإبقاء على الأطفال تحت رعاية أسرهم أو إرجاعهم إليها، وفي حالة فشل ذلك، إيجاد حل مناسب ودائم، بما في ذلك التبني أو الكفالة وفقا للشريعة الإسلامية؛

160. Should family reintegration prove impossible within an appropriate period or be deemed contrary to the child's best interests, stable and definitive solutions, such as kafala of Islamic law or adoption, should be envisaged; failing this, other long-term options should be considered, such as foster care or appropriate residential care, including group homes and other supervised living arrangements.
160- وإذا ثبُت أن لم شمل الطفل بأسرته متعذر في غضون فترة معقولة ارتُئي أن ذلك يتعارض مع مصالحه الفضلى، فإنه ينبغي النظر في إيجاد حلول مستقرة ونهائية، من قبيل التبني أو الكفالة وفقاً لأحكام الشريعة الإسلامية؛ وإن تعذر ذلك، ينبغي النظر في إيجاد خيارات أخرى طويلة الأجل، مثل الكفالة أو الإيداع في مؤسسة لائقة للرعاية الداخلية، بما في ذلك المساكن الجماعية وغيرها من ترتيبات السكن الخاضعة للإشراف.
