With regard to the right to strike in both the public and private sectors, article 379 of the new trade union freedom bill limited the period for strike action to 45 days, following which, if the parties had failed to reach a settlement, arbitration pursuant to the Labour Code became mandatory.
35- وبخصوص الحق في الإضراب في القطاعين العام والخاص كليهما حددت المادة 379 من مشروع القانون الجديد المتعلق بحرية نقابات العمال مدة الإضراب ﺑ 45 يوماً وإذا لم تستطع الأطراف عقب هذه المدة التوصل إلى اتفاق يصبح التحكيم وفقاً لقانون العمل إلزامياً.
