In these cases, the required infrastructure has been created to guarantee the full participation of victims and the protection of the rights of the defence through the Office of Public Counsel for Victims and the preparation of measures to guarantee the security of victims, witnesses and other persons at risk because of investigations carried out by the Court.

تتعهد الدول اﻷطراف ، بغية القضاء على حوادث فقدان أو تسريب اﻷسلحة النارية والذخيرة والمتجفرات والمعدات ذات الصلة ، بأن تتخذ التدابير اللازمة لضمان أمن اﻷسلحة النارية والذخيرة والمتفجرات وسائر المعدات ذات الصلة التي تستورد الى أقاليمها أو تصدر منها أو تعبرها .

وفيما يتعلق برعايا المملكة المتحدة والولايات المتحدة المكلفين بمهام في مقر البعثة في ميناء أم قصر، ذكرت اﻷمم المتحدة أنها تعتمد على السلطات العراقية في اتخاذ جميع التدابير اللازمة لضمان أمن المقر ومَن فيه من موظفين.

For example, according to rule 17 of the UNITAR Model Rules, " The receiving State shall take all necessary measures to ensure the security and safety of the designated relief personnel and of all premises, facilities, means of transport and equipment used in connection with relief activities " .
فوفقا للقاعدة 17 مثلا من قواعد اليونيتار النموذجية، تتخذ الدولة التي تتلقى المساعدة جميع التدابير اللازمة لضمان أمن وسلامة موظفي الإغاثة المعينين وأمن وسلامة جميع المباني والمرافق ووسائل النقل والمعدات المستخدمة في إطار أنشطة الإغاثة.

12. ١٢ - يرحب بما أعلنه فريق المراقبين العسكريين للاتحاد الاقتصادي لدول غربي افريقيا من الالتزام بضمان سلامة مراقبي بعثة مراقبي اﻷمم المتحدة في ليبريا وموظفيها المدنيين، ويحـث اﻷطراف الليبرية على اتخاذ جميع التدابير اللازمة لضمان أمن وسلامة أفراد بعثة مراقبي اﻷمم المتحدة في ليبريا وكذلك الموظفين المشاركين في عمليات الاغاثة مع التقيد بدقة بالقواعد المنطبقة من القانون الانساني الدولي؛

17. The Committee notes the various steps taken by the State party to reform the judiciary, but it is concerned that judges still remain vulnerable to outside pressure due to insufficient measures to guarantee the security of their status.
17- تلاحظ اللجنة مختلف الخطوات التي اتخذتها الدولة الطرف لإصلاح النظام القضائي، ولكنها تشعر بالقلق من أن القضاة لا يزالون يتعرضون لضغوط خارجية بسبب عدم كفاية التدابير اللازمة لضمان أمن مركزهم.
