3. With regard to effective means of collecting illicitly transferred weapons, Chilean legislation stipulates a nationwide application mechanism which is considered effective and consists in the following:

- To ensure, in relation to the obstruction of justice (article 25 (a) of the Convention), that cases of inducement to give false testimony are provided for in Chilean legislation.
- فيما يتعلّق بإعاقة سير العدالة (المادة 25 (أ) من الاتفاقية)، ضمان أن تنصّ التشريعات الشيلية على حالات التحريض على الإدلاء بشهادة زور.

4.8 The State party concedes that the ILO Committee of Experts monitoring Chilean legislation on unemployment benefits considered a loss of benefits imposed if a person refused to carry out community relief work to be " equivalent to a penalty in the sense of the Convention " .
4-8 وتقرّ الدولة الطرف بأن لجنة خبراء منظمة العمل الدولية المكلفة برصد التشريعات الشيلية فيما يتعلق باستحقاقات البطالة اعتبرت أن فرض وقف الاستحقاقات عندما يرفض شخصٌ ما القيام بأعمال إغاثة مجتمعية هو بمثابة " عقوبة في مفهوم الاتفاقية " .
