193- وتعرب اللجنة عن أملها في أن تتخذ حكومة بيرو التي ستتولى السلطة في تموز/يوليه 2001 خطوات مثابرة وفعالة لانهاء ممارسة التعذيب بوجه السرعة، وفقاً لأحكام الاتفاقية.

2. The Subcommittee, while respecting the principles set out in article 3, is encouraged to cooperate for the prevention of torture in general with the relevant United Nations organs and mechanisms as well as international, regional and national institutions or organizations working towards strengthening the protection of persons from torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.
٢- تشجﱠع اللجنة الفرعية، مع احترام المبادئ المنصوص عليها في المادة ٣، على التعاون على منع التعذيب بوجه عام مع هيئات وآليات اﻷمم المتحدة ذات الصلة فضلا عن المؤسسات الدولية واﻹقليمية والوطنية أو المنظمات التي تعمل من أجل تعزيز حماية اﻷشخاص من التعذيب وغيره من ضروب المعاملة أو العقوبة القاسية أو اللاإنسانية أو المهينة.

(j) Reinforce human rights education and promotion activities in general, and regarding the prohibition of torture in particular, for law enforcement officials and medical personnel, and introduce training in these subjects in official education programmes;
(ي) ينبغي أن تعزِّز الأنشطة المتعلقة بالتثقيف في مجال حقوق الإنسان والترويج لها بوجه عام، والمتعلقة بمنع التعذيب بوجه خاص والتي توجه إلى الموظفين المكلفين بإنفاذ القوانين والموظفين الطبيين، وأن تُدخل التدريب الخاص بهذه المواضيع في البرامج التعليمية الرسمية؛

The Sub-Committee, while respecting the principles set out in article 3, is encouraged to cooperate for the prevention of torture in general with the relevant United Nations organs and mechanisms as well as international, regional and national institutions or organizations working towards strengthening the protection of persons from torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.
2- تشجّع اللجنة الفرعية، مع احترام المبادئ المنصوص عليها في المادة 3، على التعاون على منع التعذيب بوجه عام مع هيئات وآليات الأمم المتحدة ذات الصلة فضلا عن المؤسسات الدولية والإقليمية والوطنية أو المنظمات التي تعمل من أجل تعزيز حماية الأشخاص من التعذيب وغيره من ضروب المعاملة أو العقوبة القاسية أو اللاإنسانية أو المهينة.

(c) Cooperate, for the prevention of torture in general, with the relevant United Nations organs and mechanisms as well as with the international, regional and national institutions or organizations working towards the strengthening of the protection of all persons against torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.

4. Article 11, paragraph (c), of the Optional Protocol provides that, for the prevention of torture in general, the Subcommittee shall cooperate with the relevant United Nations organs and mechanisms as well as with the regional and national institutions or organizations working towards the strengthening of the protection of all persons against ill-treatment.
4- وتنص الفقرة (ج) من المادة 11 من البروتوكول الاختياري على أن تتعاون اللجنة الفرعية، لغرض منع التعذيب بوجه عام، مع هيئات الأمم المتحدة وآلياتها ذات الصلة فضلا عن المؤسسات أو المنظمات الدولية والإقليمية والوطنية التي تعمل على تعزيز حماية جميع الأشخاص من المعاملة السيئة.

3. Article 11, paragraph (c), of the OPCAT provides that, for the prevention of torture in general, the SPT shall cooperate with the relevant United Nations organs and mechanisms as well as with the regional and national institutions or organizations working towards the strengthening of the protection of all persons against ill-treatment.
3- وتنص الفقرة (ج) من المادة 11 من البروتوكول الاختياري على أن تتعاون اللجنة الفرعية، لغرض منع التعذيب بوجه عام، مع هيئات الأمم المتحدة وآلياتها ذات الصلة فضلاً عن المؤسسات أو المنظمات الإقليمية والوطنية التي تعمل على تعزيز حماية جميع الأشخاص من إساءة المعاملة.

4. As provided for under article 11, paragraph 1 (c), of the Optional Protocol, the Subcommittee shall cooperate, for the prevention of torture in general, with the relevant United Nations organs and mechanisms as well as with the international, regional and national institutions or organizations working towards the strengthening of the protection of all persons against torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.
4- وتنص الفقرة 1(ج) من المادة 11 من البروتوكول الاختياري على أن تتعاون اللجنة الفرعية، لغرض منع التعذيب بوجه عام، مع هيئات الأمم المتحدة وآلياتها ذات الصلة فضلاً عن المؤسسات أو المنظمات الدولية والإقليمية والوطنية التي تنشط في سبيل تعزيز حماية جميع الأشخاص من التعذيب وغيره من ضروب المعاملة أو العقوبة القاسية أو اللاإنسانية أو المهينة.
