The Committee also noted that the General Assembly attached great importance to the improvement of reporting procedures, in particular, by urging the treaty bodies and the meetings of persons chairing the human rights treaty bodies to examine ways to reduce the duplication of reporting required under the different human rights instruments.
ولاحظت اللجنة أيضا أن الجمعية العامة تعلق أهمية كبيرة على تحسين إجراءات تقديم التقارير ولا سيما بحثﱢ الهيئات المنشأة بمعاهدات واجتماعات رؤساء الهيئات المنشأة بمعاهدات حقوق اﻹنسان على النظر في سبل اﻹقلال من ازدواج التقارير المطلوب تقديمها بموجب صكوك مختلفة لحقوق اﻹنسان.

6. Urges the human rights treaty bodies and the seventh meeting of the persons chairing them to continue to examine, on a priority basis, ways of reducing the duplication of reporting required under the different instruments without impairing the quality of reporting and of generally reducing the reporting burden on Member States, including through:
٦- تحث هيئات معاهدات حقوق اﻹنسان والاجتماع السابع لرؤسائها على مواصلة النظر على أساس من اﻷولوية، في سبل اﻹقلال من الازدواج في التقارير المطلوب تقديمها بموجب صكوك مختلفة، بدون إضعاف نوعيتها، والتخفيف عموماً من عبء تقديم التقارير عن الدول اﻷعضاء، وذلك بطرق منها ما يلي:

99. Finally, there are issues to address concerning the frequency of reporting, and the fact that requests for reports to be produced periodically stay on the books long after they have become obsolete.
99 - وختاما هناك مسائل يتعين معالجتها وتتعلق بتواتر التقارير، وهي أن طلبات التقارير المطلوب إعدادها دوريا تظل في السجلات بعد تقادمها بمدة طويلة.

Welcomes the work done by the Secretary-General to compile in a single volume all the general guidelines regarding the form and content of reports to be submitted by States parties that have been issued by the human rights treaty bodies, and encourages the Secretary-General to also compile the rules of procedure for the treaty bodies;
13 - ترحب بالعمل الذي أنجزه الأمين العام بجمع جميع المبادئ التوجيهية العامة المتعلقة بشكل ومحتوى التقارير المطلوب تقديمها من الدول الأطراف، الصادرة عن هيئات حقوق الإنسان المنشأة بمعاهدات، في مجلد واحد وتشجع الأمين العام على أن يجمع أيضا الأنظمة الداخلية للهيئات المنشأة بمعاهدات حقوق الإنسان؛

In paragraph 22 of that decision, the Council decided that the Secretariat should report on its implementation " in conjunction with its reporting required by subparagraph 2 (f) of Council decision EC-M-33/DEC.1 " .
وتقضي الفقرة 22 من قرار المجلس هذا بأن تقدِّم الأمانة إليه تقارير عن تنفيذه " باقتران مع التقارير المطلوب تقديمها بموجب الفقرة الفرعية 2 (و) من قرار المجلس EC-M-33/DEC.1 " .

The single greatest symptom of the lack of a coherent system for evaluating mandates and their effectiveness is the uncoordinated and burdensome mass of reports requested from the Secretariat.
يتمثل أهم عَرَضْ وحيد يجسد غياب نظام متسق لتقييم الولايات ومدى فعاليتها في وجود كمية كبيرة من التقارير المطلوب أن تقدمها الأمانة العامة، وهي كمية تفتقر إلى التنسيق وتتسم بالصعوبة.
