The present report has been prepared in response to General Assembly resolution 64/197 requesting the Secretary-General to submit a report to the Assembly at its sixty-sixth session on progress in making appropriate sustainable agricultural technologies available and affordable, especially to smallholder farmers, and making agriculture more resilient, including to climate change.
1 - أُعِدَّ هذا التقرير استجابة لقرار الجمعية العامة 64/197 الذي يطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يقدم إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها السادسة والستين تقريراً عن التقدم المحرز لإتاحة التكنولوجيات الزراعية المستدامة المناسبة بأسعار معقولة لصغار المزارعين، وجعل الزراعة أكثر قدرة على التكيف، بما في ذلك إزاء تغير المناخ.

6. Encourages Member States, civil society and public and private institutions to develop partnerships to support financial and market services, including training, capacity-building, infrastructure and extension services to farmers, in particular smallholder farmers, and calls for further efforts by all stakeholders to make appropriate sustainable agricultural technologies available and affordable to smallholder farmers;
6 - تشجع الدول الأعضاء والمجتمع المدني والمؤسسات العامة والخاصة على إقامة شراكات لدعم الخدمات المالية وخدمات السوق، بما في ذلك الخدمات المتعلقة بالتدريب وبناء القدرات والهياكل الأساسية والإرشاد المقدمة للمزارعين، وبخاصة صغار المزارعين، وتدعو جميع أصحاب المصلحة إلى بذل مزيد من الجهود لإتاحة التكنولوجيات الزراعية المستدامة المناسبة بأسعار معقولة لصغار المزارعين؛
