13. Any person regarding whom proceedings are being carried out in connection with any of the offences to which this article applies shall be guaranteed fair treatment at all stages of the proceedings, including enjoyment of all the rights and guarantees provided by the domestic law of the State Party in the territory of which that person is present.

2. Any person regarding whom proceedings are being brought in connection with any of the offences referred to in article 2 shall be guaranteed fair treatment at all stages of the proceedings, including enjoyment of all the rights and guarantees provided by the law of the State in the territory in which he is present.

٣ - يكفل ﻷي شخص تقام عليه دعوى فيما يتعلق بأي من الجرائم المنصوص عليها في المادة ٢ أن يلقى معاملة منصفة في جميع مراحل الدعوى، وفقا للقانون الدولي، فضلا عن التمتع بجميع الحقوق والضمانات التي ينص عليها قانون الدولة التي يوجد هذا الشخص في أراضيها.

Any person in respect of whom proceedings are being carried out in connection with any of the offences set forth in article 1, paragraph 1, of this Convention shall be guaranteed fair treatment at all stages of the proceedings, including enjoyment of all the rights and guarantees provided for such proceedings under the legislation of the State in the territory of which that person is present.

Article VIII of the Convention stipulated that any person taken into custody must be guaranteed fair treatment, including the enjoyment of all rights and guarantees in conformity with the laws of the State party in the territory of which that person was present and with the applicable provisions of international law, including international human rights law.
