(i) The significant efforts and progress made to address the recruitment and use of children in contravention of applicable international law and other violations and abuses committed against children within its territory;

362. The Committee recommends that the State party take action to address illtreatment and abuse committed against children in the family, in schools, in the streets, in institutions and in places of detention through, inter alia:
362- توصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف باتخاذ الإجراءات الرامية إلى معالجة حالات إساءة المعاملة والإيذاء التي تُرتكب ضد الأطفال في الأسرة والمدرسة والشوارع والمؤسسات وأماكن الاحتجاز، وذلك عن طريق جملة أمور، منها:

The report, which covers the period from 1 November 2005 to 31 October 2006, provides information on compliance and progress in ending the recruitment and use of children and other grave violations being committed against children in situations affected by armed conflict in Sri Lanka.
ويتضمن التقرير، الذي يغطي الفترة من 1 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2005 إلى 31 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2006، معلومات عن الامتثال والتقدم المحرز في وضع حد لتجنيد واستخدام الأطفال وغير ذلك من الانتهاكات الجسيمة التي تُرتكب ضد الأطفال في الحالات المتضررة من الصراع المسلح في سري لانكا.

- To monitor, help investigate and report to the Council, specifically on violations and abuses committed against children as well as violations committed against women including all forms of sexual violence in armed conflict, including through the deployment of women protection advisers and child protection advisers;
- الاعتناء خصوصا برصد الانتهاكات والاعتداءات التي تُرتكب ضد الأطفال وكذلك الانتهاكات المرتكبة ضد النساء بما فيها جميع أشكال العنف الجنسي في سياق النزاع المسلح، والمساعدة في التحقيق فيها وإبلاغ مجلس الأمن بها، وذلك بسبل منها نشر المستشارين المخصصين لشؤون حماية المرأة وشؤون حماية الطفل؛

(d) They encouraged the Government of Colombia to further enhance its efforts to combat impunity for violations and abuses committed against children.
(د) وشجعوا حكومة كولومبيا على أن تزيد تعزيز جهودها الرامية إلى مكافحة الإفلات من العقاب عن الانتهاكات والاعتداءات التي تُرتكب ضد الأطفال.

(a) Strongly condemning the continuous recruitment and use of children in violation of applicable international law, as well as all other violations and abuses, especially gender-based and sexual violence, committed against children in the Sudan;
(أ) يدين فيه بشدة استمرار تجنيد الأطفال واستخدامهم من انتهاك للقانون الدولي الواجب التطبيق، وكذلك جميع الانتهاكات والإساءات الأخرى التي تُرتكب ضد الأطفال في السودان، ولا سيما العنف الجنساني والجنسي؛

The resolution further recommends that United Nations entities and United Nations peacekeeping troop- and police-contributing countries undertake targeted and operational trainings for the preparation of United Nations mission personnel on their contribution in preventing violations against children so as to give all mission personnel the ability to effectively recognize, report and respond to violations and abuses committed against children.
ويوصي القرار كذلك بأن تنظم كيانات الأمم المتحدة والبلدان المساهمة بقوات وبأفراد من الشرطة في عمليات الأمم المتحدة لحفظ السلام دورات تدريبية محددة الهدف وتشغيلية من أجل إعداد أفراد بعثات الأمم المتحدة لغرض المساهمة في منع الانتهاكات المرتكبة ضد الأطفال، وبما يتيح لجميع أفراد البعثات القدرة على التعرف على الانتهاكات والاعتداءات التي تُرتكب ضد الأطفال والإبلاغ عنها والتصدي لها بفعالية.

(b) Expressing its strong condemnation of all violations and abuses committed against children in contravention of applicable international law involving the recruitment and use of children, killing and maiming, rape and other sexual violence, abductions, attacks against schools and denial of humanitarian access;
(ب) يعرب عن إدانته القوية لجميع الانتهاكات والاعتداءات التي تُرتكب ضد الأطفال انتهاكا للقانون الدولي الساري التي تنطوي على تجنيد واستخدام الأطفال، والقتل والتشويه، والاغتصاب وغيره من أعمال العنف الجنسي، وعمليات الاختطاف، والاعتداءات على المدارس والحرمان من الحصول على المساعدة الإنسانية؛

" The Security Council further condemns all grave violations and abuses committed against children in contravention of applicable international law, such as recruitment and use, killing and maiming, rape and all other forms of sexual violence, attacks on schools and hospitals as well as arbitrary arrest, detention, torture, ill treatment and use as human shields.
" يدين مجلس الأمن كذلك جميع الانتهاكات والتجاوزات الخطيرة التي تُرتكب ضد الأطفال في انتهاك للقانون الدولي الساري، من قبيل تجنيد الأطفال واستخدامهم وتعريضهم للقتل والتشويه والاغتصاب وغيره من أشكال العنف الجنسي، وشن الهجمات على المدارس والمستشفيات، فضلا عن اعتقالهم تعسفا واحتجازهم وتعذيبهم وإساءة معاملتهم واستخدامهم دروعا بشرية.

41. Lastly, Sudan noted with concern the increase in attacks on the dignity and rights of children living in occupied territories, also expressing alarm at the crimes committed against children in regions afflicted by armed conflict and hunger, often under the guise of humanitarianism and charity, as in the case involving refugee children from Darfur in eastern Chad.
41 - وفي ختام بيانه ذكر أن السودان لاحظ مع القلق الزيادة في الهجمات على كرامة وحقوق الأطفال في الأراضي المحتلة وأعرب عن الجزع تجاه الجرائم التي تُرتكب ضد الأطفال في المناطق التي تعاني من النزاعات المسلحة ومن الجوع، وهي جرائم كثيرا ما تُرتكب بدعوى الإنسانية والأعمال الخيرية، كما في حالة الأطفال الذين من دارفور في شرق تشاد.
