On 17 and 24 January 2011, the Committee held informal public meetings with representatives of non-governmental organizations, who provided information about the implementation of the Convention in the seven States parties reporting to the Committee at its forty-eighth session: Bangladesh, Belarus, Israel, Kenya, Liechtenstein, South Africa and Sri Lanka.
