The Principal Legal Officer of the Division acted as Deputy Secretary of the Special Committee and Secretary to the Working Group of the Whole.

Mahnoush H. Arsanjani, Deputy Director of the Division, acted as Deputy Secretary of the Ad Hoc Committee and Secretary to its Working Group of the Whole.

6. COPUOS had made headway in preparing for UNISPACE III.
